The bartender provided excellent service throughout very stressful interaction with my friend who was way out of line and extra, all over mint and a Mojito. “My husband and I visited Burger King around dinner time and found it to be quite crowded. We weren't expecting any special treatment given the circumstances. However, the young lady who took our order, Jaylin, was so delightful, keeping a smile on her face the whole time we were inside. She really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of, even with the crazy rush. It's not every day you see someone handle that kind of pressure with such an authentic positive attitude. I hope this sweet young lady gets the recognition she deserves. Keep up the good work!“

“My husband and I came almost 2 hours away to try this place, and let me tell you; it did not disappoint!! I love the overall energy of the staff; everyone was very friendly and it felt like getting together with friends at home. The locals even sparked up conversation. My husband and I tried the spicy burger (true to the name), the special “stuffing balls” (YUM), and the Korean BBQ Burger. Fresh food, fast service, and quality experience. “I loved my salad and the service was good. The place is quite large (and not very busy) but there were long periods of time without service. Not our servers fault. Our booth was very nice and roomy but not visable to the rest of the restaurant. Our server really seemed to care. I was a little annoyed that the “free refillable sodas” that came with the kids’ meals was only for certain sodas. Not clear on the menu and not explained when we ordered. The kids would have been happy with cokes or sprites. $22 later on soda, when the bill came, we realized sofas weren’t so free. I don’t mind spending money but hate wasting it.“

“This place has grown. Others have run it, down through the years. It has not gotten bigger....today it sits there, not your clam shack and hot dog shed like on any New England beach. This is Pine Point, Maine. Having a snack spot there has always been great, but what you get from Emma would be yummy on its own, the atmosphere and scenery just make it immortal.“

“Cowbell Scarborough surpasses expectations every time I visit. The servers are friendly, attentive and polite. The food is 95% of the time correct, and if it’s not correct it is quickly resolved. Accountability is always appreciated and in this restaurant it’s certainly valued by the front of house. If you had a poor experience before, I’d recommend trying again!“

“I would just like to tell a very short story about how my friend Rex who is 65 years old he is a homeless man out of the Portland area. I took him in to Denny's in Portland to get breakfast on a cold Winter's day in January 2022. We ordered our food with our server who was very rude and after eating our cold yucky breakfast my friend Rex was refused a bathroom to use and then the manager came out and told us for NO REASON, to leave and never come back! It was the worst experience because all my friend Rex needed was a hot breakfast he doesn't bother anyone and never sticks up for himself or creates a fuss! So in looking for another breakfast place to eat we found IHOP in Portland and from the start of walking into that restaurant was so nice and clean the hostess was amazing and sat us immediately with a smile our server Bethany she was amazing so nice and kind she took our order and treated us like human beings she was not judgmental and she took our order the same way she takes everyone's orders with a smile and gracious heart! My friend Rex absolutely loves his fried eggs and his bacon so we now visit the Portland IHOP twice a week. I had told the servers about what had happened to us with our experience at Denny's and the server from IHOP told Rex and myself that we were allowed at IHOP anytime and that they would love to have us!! I can't even tell you how much this warms my heart knowing that I can take my friend who has fallen on some hard times into a restaurant to eat a very nice warm meal and have the best servers in the best wait staff around us! You are amazing IHOP and we love you so much! We will be there every Tuesday and Friday for bacon and eggs comforted by the graciousness and smiles of everyone in the restaurant at IHOP! Keep on being the most amazing restaurant in the world because from my point of view you absolutely are! We love you IHOP thank you so much for your hospitality!“

“My kindergarten or first grade class visited this BK about 1976 as a field trip and I remember the brown and orange uniforms and the flame broiler. It's the same building and it's looking good. The food was great today, service great and quick. So sad when the Scarborough BK closed but I still make it over to the South Portland store for a real treat!“

We waited around a minute for the table, but the food came pretty quickly and it was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan over fettucine alfredo and would rate it an 8.5/10.
