“We had such a delicious birthday dinner at Dara the other night. Our party of six split several starters (the tempura dilly beans and crab cakes were favorites). The entrees were even better - the smoked duck breast was so flavorful, the cod was cooked perfectly and the frites of the steak frites were maybe the best I've ever had. And the desserts, especially the spruce and maple creme brulee and light(!) flourless chocolate cake were outstanding. It’s a splurge for sure but well worth it - can’t wait to go back. Wishing the whole crew at Dara so much luck with such an ambitious venture. Go!!“

“A great coffee shop in an area that was desperately in need of a non-chain giant coffee option. Located at Refuge Church with tons of parking available in the free lot with lots of other stores nearby. The cafe has a large and inviting spot. Good mix of hot and cold drink options including some specialty flavored drinks too (iced or hot). Some bakery/sweets options as well but did not try any of that. I tried their iced M&H Latte and my fiancée got their Iced Rasmo. Staff were extremely friendly and drinks were made quickly. Surprised I don’t hear more people talking about this spot. A worthwhile spot to check for coffee lovers!“

“One of the best lunch spots in the greater Portland area. Don't let the cafeteria style food scare you away. Their food is excellent and always changing. Almost every meal brings an exciting taste surprise and you will have wished that you had found this restaurant long ago. Along with there daily specials there are many other hot and cold sandwiches and salads available. I don't have any particular favorites as everything I have tried has been great. This restaurant is well worth a trip from Portland. It is located on the beautiful Pineland campus and on a sunny clear day you can get a peak of Mount Washington from the large window in front. Best view in my opinion is when it is snow covered.“
