“How could anybody complain when we’ve just been through a pandemic - We’ve been through a shutdown, many thousands of people have died, schools closed & kids had to learn from home (and then had hybrid learning), many businesses folded & people lost their jobs, the job market changed & people worked from home - Prices went up considerably which made it much harder for some people to get by & many could not make it - I feel that it is remarkable that The River Tap & Grill has done as well as any restaurant out there - Kudos to the owners, the staff & to all the others who have made this possible -”

“Nice place and actually has a parking lot to pull into. Good food and good service. The problem is that some of the people hanging out by the entrance make it difficult to get thru the door. You know whom I 'm speaking of.
Besides that, you should stop in and get a bite and a drink.”

“If you want an elite coffeehouse and bakery experience, you'll love this place. If you are going to gripe about how much more expensive that experience was compared to your last Duncs run, this is not for you. Novel flavor combinations (in the best way) for hot, cold and frozen coffee. They even have frozen hot chocolate (as well as hot). Eating in gives you time to savor the Happy Days/Poodle Skirt vibe. The vintage albums on the walls are interesting as is the decor in general. Coffee flavors might include the words honey, lavender or salted and the bakery case has a surprising amount of variety for a small shop that does it all in house.”

“I’ve been here a couple times now and I got the orange chicken both times, pretty solid chinese food. The sauce for the chicken was really good and the chicken pieces weren’t fatty or overly breaded. The pork fried rice was a little on the dry side but they do offer a nice selection of sauces if you need it, the rice itself though is really flavorful on its own. The portion sizes are really fair for the price and it made for nice leftovers the next day. Not really a sit down restaurant so expect takeout only but the service is really quick and theres a very convenient online ordering service.

“So I don't know what happened here this week, but- - -the food improved dramatically. I had pretty much given up on anything but the donuts and bagels. The sandwiches had -up til this week, a peculiar chemical taste to them and the hash browns did too, in addition to being kind of soggy. The past week or two I've ordered three times and have bee rewarded with breakfast sandwiches as good as home made, and hash browns that tasted like potatoes, and were crispy. Hope it keeps up.”
