Great spot and food. Cash only so bring some with you. It’s also BOYB but great restaurant all the same.
The Lobster Roll was perfect. I could even say ridiculous. Stuffed with Maine Lobster that melted in your mouth!!! Great visit with my friend Dave. Met his brother and sister while I was there. Excellent 👍👍👍👍👍

An East Coast seafood dream come true! 🦞🌽🧈
This spot is everything you’d want in a classic New England-style lobster shack! The lobster was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The corn was sweet and buttery, and everything was served piping hot and fresh. You can tell they care about quality and tradition.
It’s casual, no-fuss, and absolutely delicious. From the overflowing trays to the friendly service, the whole experience felt like a true coastal treat. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is the place to indulge in a hearty lobster feast.
💯 Worth the stop — just bring your appetite and prepare to get messy in the best

Parked here and left to take a quick walk around the small island before eating at restaurant since we had 2 cats with us and wanted to get them out of the car after a long day of driving. The owner of the restaurant drives up to us, 2 cat carriers in hand, and asks us if we truly intend on eating there and what our plan for the day is and how long we’re going to walk around for and when we plan to come to eat, because she says that many ppl park there but don’t eat, and it’s bad because it’s a small lot. I get her concern but her attitude and questioning was off putting. Decided not to eat there and parked somewhere else.
Didn't even mean to find this place. So glad i did though. The lobster rolls were the best I’d ever had.

Instead of being greeted upon arrival, we were immediately asked if we were going to the restaurant and were supposed to be parked in the lot. How about a “hi, how are you, are you eating with us today?” Rude.
Once we sat down, Saturday at 4pm, they took our order and then 15 minutes later came back to tell us they had ran out of clam chowder. Okay, fine, we can skip that. We had all (seven people) ordered lobster rolls too. It took another 30 minutes for the server to come down and tell us they were OUT OF LOBSTER MEAT. so I guess go get your lobster rolls for breakfast at 10am ?
Why did you take our order and start bringing out appetizers before you told us you had none of the ingredients to make anyone’s dinner? Bizarre, horrible service - couldn’t event tell you what the food tasted like!! I just had a Dasani that I’m pretty sure they still charged us for.
Limited parking. Limited sun covered seating. Got the 1.5lb and it was a little undercooked. Would be willing to go back to make sure it wasn't just a mediocre experience.

Happened upon this gem by accident and the lobster bisque and lobster roll were the best that I have had in New England. What's more is that she allows you to bring your own alcohol to sip while enjoying the gorgeous views. Only opened from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cash only but there is an ATM on site.

The 1/2 and 1/2 Bisque-Chowder is definitely worth a try! I was positively surprised by how good it was.

Such a charming, home made, delicious meal that we had overlooking the water. Genuinely could not have been better. The mac and cheese was to die for!

Quaint little restaurant on a small pier, seems family owned. Comfy with a good view of the bridge in the bay. Fairly priced food with a limited but good selection of seafood.

Wonderful old-school, Old-Maine place - "Lobsters in the Rough" like we used to have. Ambience - totally relaxed, right on the water. Food - Menu has good variety, the lobsters come in daily, cooked just right. The view across the river to Portsmouth is like no other, plus the river traffic and bridge openings, lobster boats, big ships, tugs, you name it. River breezes tend to keep things a little cooler. I'll be back.
I discovered the restaurant by accident when I pulled into a side street. And I'm very happy about it. An exceptional experience for me.
This place is not a fancy fancy restaurant. But it is exactly the place you will love. You get the freshest food. Here they cook it right in front of you.
Lobster rolls or boiled whole lobster are the obvious choice here.
The owner is very nice and helpful.
I am very sorry that I cannot return to this place more often.
Attention! It is not possible to pay by card. The ATM is right in the restaurant. But my European cards were not accepted.
