Whenever we're in the Portsmouth area this is one of our regular spots. The BBQ for 2 is perfect, just make sure to get the jalapeno honey corn bread as well. I don't even like jalapeños, but the flavor is subtle and the honey just makes it so delicious. The brisket is great, sometimes it's a little dry, but they have some great sauces to take care of that. The star of the show is the ribs. I don't usually get ribs at restaurants, but I always do at Ore Nells....
Ate there last night for first time. My wife and I had the platter for 2 and it was outstanding. We both agreed the brisket was the best we have had. Ribs and pulled pork were also great and none of the meats needed sauce. They were all really juicy. We will be back on our next trip to Maine.
My (non-vegan) partner REALLY wanted BBQ for their birthday and I was so lucky to find this place that would have options for me too!! BBQ tofu was to die for! I will be back to try the Seitan Ribs, sandwiches, and different sides. I also had a delicious mocktail - don’t remember what it was called but it was ginger beer, lemonade, and maple syrup. They have an option to add CBD to their mocktails which I thought was fun! Our server was great and overall we had a really good...
