My husband and I just flew in from central Missouri for our anniversary. We stopped at a different restaurant and was not getting helped, so we left. We walked around the corner, saw your place and said why not? Your staff was amazing and welcoming! The ribs and pulled pork, top notch! We enjoyed the staff, food and environment! Whenever we're in the Portsmouth area this is one of our regular spots. The BBQ for 2 is perfect, just make sure to get the jalapeno honey corn bread as well. I don't even like jalapeños, but the flavor is subtle and the honey just makes it so delicious. The brisket is great, sometimes it's a little dry, but they have some great sauces to take care of that. The star of the show is the ribs. I don't usually get ribs at restaurants, but I always do at Ore Nells....
Ate there last night for first time. My wife and I had the platter for 2 and it was outstanding. We both agreed the brisket was the best we have had. Ribs and pulled pork were also great and none of the meats needed sauce. They were all really juicy. We will be back on our next trip to Maine.
