“Come to Maine to visit daughters family in Montville twice a year. John's Ice Cream is the best I have ever had anywhere. Can't believe one person gave a bad review and said ice cream had no flavor to it. Haven't heard one person give a bad review. Must be something wrong with them.“

“Family and I stopped here in search of U-Pick blueberries on route to Acadia. Despite being toward end of season, Sweet Season Farm delivered outstandingly.

Location is a bit off the beaten path, but very much worth the peaceful drive and promise of separation from all too common summer crowds and vacationers. As others have said, the establishment owners are warm and pleasant folk. The picking area is an acre or two but boasted many rows of well tended bushes and a bounty of fruit. After 8 pounds harvested between four adults and two kids, we all settled for some tasty iced cream and said farewell.

All in all I could not have asked for a better experience. And we had it all to ourselves!“
