“My first foodie experience at Pinky D'Poutine Food Truck at Swine and Stein, Gardiner, Maine. Many poutine choices. I went with the Chicken, bacon ranch poutine and added brown gravy instead of the cheese sauce ($14). WOW!!! A righteous flavor bomb! Made to order, every ingredient was plentiful, fresh and hot.Plenty to share. “We had our family Christmas party at Angelo's last night and we all wanted to thank all the employees for your wonderful hospitality and great food! We gathered in the back room and the atmosphere was very cozy, with Christmas music playing in the background. What a great place to have a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party, etc. Lisbon's own hidden gem of a restaurant. “Today was our first time at the Brunswick Diner. Upon arrival an older gentleman suffered a medical issue and the waitress (Sophie I believe) jumped right in to help him. She took so much care in how she treated him and really took control of the situation getting him the help and attention he needed. My husband and I were very impressed by the way she handled everything in an already cramped and busy environment. We enjoyed our food and the staff were all kind and attentive.“

“everytime hubby and I want a good breakfast we end up here! food is great, atmosphere is nice and always a good price. unfortunately today wasn't the case food was good but service was disappointing. server had time to chat with another table near us and meet their needs and wants but rushed us to order, as one in the group wasn't ready to order and had to pick on the fly, waited half my meal to get jelly which was giving to the tables as they ordered but not us, never got the home fires, never checked in on us till we called her over. another at the table never ate her meal and she never questioned what was wrong. and had to wait about 16 mins for check after we asked for the check and boxes. will go back but in hopes we don't have her again. she was unpleasant and short with us but happy and attentive to her other tables.“

The authentic German dishes were not only mouth watering but the waitress Sarah made our entire evening one to remember. She brought us fresh buttery rolls and pretzels with homemade mustard to start with and after dinner there were brandy filled dark chocolates on the bill tray. We will be returning as often as we can travel up to Brunswick from central Mass.“

I had accidentally ordered the wrong thing and they still wanted to charge me for the correct one and the incorrect one. Waited 30 minutes for a lemonade and 50 for our meals that were undercooked and cold. If you want good service, don’t sit in the dining but sit at the bar. The bartender is amazing and I always have a great experience with her! It felt like our waitress ignored us most of the night and the woman who I’m assuming was a manager seemed to have an attitude with us too. All over me not specifying between steamed and fried dumplings.“

“This Diner reminds me of when the farmers would go for breakfast and stop in for a wholesome meal. Everything was excellent. They use fresh ingredients. That’s a big deal for me. There was fresh Spinach in my omelette and that was a very nice surprise. Nothing was greasy. The Mailhots were quite tasty, and the home fries were also impressive. “Visiting the area from Waterville area, was impressed with the veggies in the dishes.. perfect crispness and flavor! The ice cream selection covered everyone’s taste! The price was good too for dinner for a family of four, under $70! They were prompt to remove dishes and refill water. A local friend popped in to say hi to us after work..not ordering food and they even offered him and glass of water and allowed him to join our table which we appreciated. “The food at this restaurant is always amazing and so fun to watch it being prepared right in front of us. That all goes without saying. My husband and I met our kids and grandkids here for a birthday supper for myself and my daughter-in-law. We didn't mention the birthdays but the owner (I think) had come out and greeted us while we were waiting for the chef. He noticed there were a couple of gift bags so he asked who's birthday it was. He was funny and sweet. After the meal was over, I saw the hostess and a waiter coming to our table with a little birthday parade. They gave my daughter in law and me each a dish of delicious fried ice-cream with a candle and sang happy birthday. It was so kind, generous and thoughtful. Overall a truly wonderful experience.“
