I went with the Chicken, bacon ranch poutine and added brown gravy instead of the cheese sauce ($14). WOW!!! A righteous flavor bomb! Made to order, every ingredient was plentiful, fresh and hot.Plenty to share. We gathered in the back room and the atmosphere was very cozy, with Christmas music playing in the background. “Today was our first time at the Brunswick Diner. Upon arrival an older gentleman suffered a medical issue and the waitress (Sophie I believe) jumped right in to help him. She took so much care in how she treated him and really took control of the situation getting him the help and attention he needed. My husband and I were very impressed by the way she handled everything in an already cramped and busy environment. We enjoyed our food and the staff were all kind and attentive.“

The salad dressing was incredible, hard to describe, but so good that I wanted more. The crab was delicious, and my son had the medium spice shrimp Pad Thai, which he finished completely. We even enjoyed our leftovers later that night. I would absolutely return the next time we’re in town!“

From chicken Parmesan, to spinach artichoke dip, to fried chicken wings, to pizza, to chicken piccata, salted caramel cheesecake, and peanut butter pie. Everything was so good. I recommend for them to put a little bit more lemon on the chicken piccata noodles other than that, it was good. I would come again. I recommend child friendly as well and big portions. We took food home.“

The authentic German dishes were not only mouth watering but the waitress Sarah made our entire evening one to remember. She brought us fresh buttery rolls and pretzels with homemade mustard to start with and after dinner there were brandy filled dark chocolates on the bill tray. We will be returning as often as we can travel up to Brunswick from central Mass.“

“We’ve stopped going to the Exeter, NH location after too many bad experiences with food and service. We’d heard the experience was better in Maine and decided to give it a shot on our way north. I’m so glad we did. The food was tasty (fish tacos and a Reuben) and our bartender was engaging and friendly. There was a good energy in the space and the location is fab. Will definitely go back next time we’re passing through. You should suggest the Exeter crew spend some time there to learn how it’s done. I know exactly zero locals who go to Exeter anymore because it’s so bad. It’s a shame because the view is killer. It COULD be great.“

“I’ve only had two bad experiences here once being hibachi and everything being under cooked and tonight, everything was undercooked and we were ignored most of the night because I had a question regarding something I ordered. I had accidentally ordered the wrong thing and they still wanted to charge me for the correct one and the incorrect one. Waited 30 minutes for a lemonade and 50 for our meals that were undercooked and cold. If you want good service, don’t sit in the dining but sit at the bar. The bartender is amazing and I always have a great experience with her! It felt like our waitress ignored us most of the night and the woman who I’m assuming was a manager seemed to have an attitude with us too. All over me not specifying between steamed and fried dumplings.“

“Visiting the area from Waterville area, was impressed with the veggies in the dishes.. perfect crispness and flavor! The ice cream selection covered everyone’s taste! The price was good too for dinner for a family of four, under $70! They were prompt to remove dishes and refill water. A local friend popped in to say hi to us after work..not ordering food and they even offered him and glass of water and allowed him to join our table which we appreciated.
