“Growing up, this was my parents date spot when we would visit my aunt who lived in hallowell at the time. It was a bit mythical in my mind from their tales of it when they came home and I can't believe that it lived up to the myth, 35 years later! Just that alone makes this experience wonderful. We each got specials, the crispy haddock (which was fish and chips without the fries) for me and the steak au poivre for my partner. Both of us would get it again. The best part of the meal was the peanut butter fudge swirl pie, which was the best dessert I've had at a restaurant in years. I was not expecting much but it was whipped really well and didn't feel heavy, which is a miracle with peanut butter. We were upstairs, they ask if you can do stairs when making reservations. It's definitely eclectic in the decor and it felt like there was something to admire anywhere you looked. There was a large party next to us that were a bit loud- it was so quiet once they left. It's not cheap but it's worth it and it's been around for decades but it's not stuffy at all.“

“I ride my motorized bike into this place as if I’m a motorcyclist lol. It’s my favorite place locally and the whole family enjoys it when we drive in. Great food, awesome lobster rolls, really good ice cream (and a lot of it!) and it’s just a smash hit with all ages. Cool drive-in feel, a Jersey rock (I’m from Jersey originally, therefore I know good food also), a play area that my kids love, and awesome service from kind employees. They will bring you your food and are awesome at remedying problems like spilt ice cream.Kid-friendliness: There are foods kids love and great ice cream! And a play area that my kids love!“

“Nice bar that had a lot of different selections of beer. I think 44 exactly. Don't queue me on that though. Their steak and cheese is pretty good too. I really liked their flavored fries too. All in all would definitely come back here.“

“So I was there for the music and didn't have any food. The drinks were gr8 and the service was quick and friendly and the band the Cowboy Angels had everyone tapping thier feet and dancing! They played blues, Rock and old country. If u ever hear of them playing go check them out. And if ur in the neighborhood of Sully's stop in for a drink. Don't forget to tip ur wait staff.“

“I ordered a chicken tender dinner basket and it was literally some of the best tasting chicken tenders I've ever had. The fries had that real potato homemade taste. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp. The waitress who handled my order was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will absolutely be ordering again.“

“Their brick oven pizza buffet w/soup & salads is delicious! Two-three salads to choose from, a cold/pasta salad, a soup & 5 brick oven pizzas. The selection isn't huge, but it's very tasty! Soup was lukewarm yet tasty, salad was fresh & brick oven pizza was very yummy! Staff is always extremely friendly & appropriately attentive. Nice atmosphere for a lovely, quiet lunch.“

“I always get a salad while deciding on what to eat. I should just order what I always order....the bourbon chicken and shrimp. It is always good the only thing i do not like is that the took the little red potatoes off the menu. I also wish they had a better selection of top shelf bourbons. Makers is not that top shelf.“

It was busy and a little chaotic.I was looking at the steak in the display case, and the hostess asked if we wanted to pick our own steak and when it was said that it was the first time and it was known how that worked, what went with it and so on, she brought us to a table.We got a table right away and were seated with warmish rolls, we were told our server would be right over. We found the menus on the table.Rolls were yummmmmOrdered a blooming onion for an appetizer, and steak tips smothered in gravy onion and mushroom, were given the choice how we would like it cooked both wanted a pink center... it was overcooked and had a lot of gravey and oil in the dish. This came with two sides. We chose loaded sweet potato we thought would be loaded like a reg mash, but it had marshmallows and cinnamon still yumm also greasy and ceaser salad. Raspberry and strawberry lemonade these were very sweet.Sever was pleasant and welcoming. She was very good at reading customer body and face language.
