“Traveling through Maine from Ohio. Saw Slates mentioned in a Maine tourist magazine. Met friends here and were totally impressed with the special menu. Our waiter, Michael, was the BEST. He shared with us the story of how the restaurant began and other interesting background information. The food was delicious. If we were going to be in the area longer we would definitely make it there again.“

“Our server Emily was amazing attentive to our needs and likes the food was fast and fresh other staff members like Jayce and manager Chris where wonderful to talk with and really made us feel welcome! But Emily really stood out at her job even with us being her last table for the evening she was readily available and was planning ahead for what she was seeing like noticing we love fresh water with lemons kept it filled and even offered to get to go cups for us before we left!
