“This is the best Thai restaurant in Maine. The 2nd favorite of mine is Pinto Thai to Go. You don't need any other Thai food if you have these two. Thai with us uses high quality ingredients. I have never been served the 'fancy' little mushrooms anywhere else. Best crab rangoons in Maine. Tom Yum soup. Be careful when you get Drunken Noodles though. The chef makes them extra spicy so I stopped ordering them there. Everyrhing else is AMAZING. Curries and noodle dishes alike, poetry in motion.Vegetarian options: There are several, clearly labeled vegetarian dishes.”

“We’ve been to Bistro Milliard a few times, and we’ll keep coming back. Even though we live in Scarborough, it’s worth the 1:15 drive as a destination, even passing by the many fine Portland restaurants. Tim and crew just do a fantastic job with fresh food prep and interesting menu choices. We had short rib over pasta and halibut. Immediate smiles came to our faces after first bites. Charcuterie board was delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this intimate little spot on Main St in Hallowell.”

“Growing up, this was my parents date spot when we would visit my aunt who lived in hallowell at the time. It was a bit mythical in my mind from their tales of it when they came home and I can't believe that it lived up to the myth, 35 years later! Just that alone makes this experience wonderful. We each got specials, the crispy haddock (which was fish and chips without the fries) for me and the steak au poivre for my partner. Both of us would get it again. The best part of the meal was the peanut butter fudge swirl pie, which was the best dessert I've had at a restaurant in years. I was not expecting much but it was whipped really well and didn't feel heavy, which is a miracle with peanut butter. We were upstairs, they ask if you can do stairs when making reservations. It's definitely eclectic in the decor and it felt like there was something to admire anywhere you looked. There was a large party next to us that were a bit loud- it was so quiet once they left. It's not cheap but it's worth it and it's been around for decades but it's not stuffy at all.”

“This place is IPA/ DIPA heaven, definitely within the top 5 for anything north of Brunswick. Their Experience gets your foot in the door, Rear View Mirror cranks it up at 7%, and XX Experience at 8.5% is for getting properly ripped. They're well balanced and full flavored, and I can always find one I'm happy with every time I visit.Great staff, and a relaxing and unpretentious place to unwind and socialize.”

“I ride my motorized bike into this place as if I’m a motorcyclist lol. It’s my favorite place locally and the whole family enjoys it when we drive in. Great food, awesome lobster rolls, really good ice cream (and a lot of it!) and it’s just a smash hit with all ages. Cool drive-in feel, a Jersey rock (I’m from Jersey originally, therefore I know good food also), a play area that my kids love, and awesome service from kind employees. They will bring you your food and are awesome at remedying problems like spilt ice cream.Kid-friendliness: There are foods kids love and great ice cream! And a play area that my kids love!”

You'll be glad you did!Parking: Parking for a few cars in front. Doesn't really seem like more parking would be needed.”

“Very nice place went there for a fundraiser for another local bar which I was very thankful to see the community get together for this I didn't rate food because I didn't have any I have to say the service was great great selection I did go during evening hours which was considered bar time only and that was the other reason I did not have anything to eatParking: The area has timed parking on the street but if you're going out as a late night date night it is until you leave a lot of streets have more parking along the area but very easy to usually find free parking there is no parking garage so you do need to find your own parking area”

“This place needs to work on its internet presence because it's incredible. I got this shipped from across the country and I've never had better lobster and I'm from New England. I don't know what dark arts are involved in shucking the meat perfectly out of the shell raw but it let's you cook it like a normal protein instead of just boiling a lobster. It might not seem like much but it's a MASSIVE difference. It's tender and sweet and you don't have carcasses to dispose of. You'll always remember where you were the first time you've tried this lobster”

“It can be challenging to find good bagels in Maine, but search no further, Sunrise is the place. Nice crust on the outside, chewy inside, great flavors, these are almost as good as NYC. The rosemary and salt bagels will knock your socks off. The Hot Maple and honey is also delicious. They also make bagel sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. There are 5 tables to eat there and everything is clean. The staff is very nice. If you want a bunch of bagels, call 24 hours ahead so they will have enough. The cafe is in a medical building, so it can be a bit challenging to find, but don't give up it is worth it!”

“Overall the meatball sub was ok. Plenty of meatballs and just the right amount of sauce vs. cheese. But if you are going to charge $1.09 for onions and another $1.09 for green pepper then I expect to see more of both on my sandwich. Definitely not worth the upcharge for such a small portion of both veggies. I have eaten here before and the service is always great, but the sandwiches are just average or a touch above. Nothing special at least not for the premium price you will pay for extras.”
