We went around 5 pm on a Thursday so the gift shop was closed. (They missed out on some sales there). No wait with plenty of seating. My wife had chicken tacos. They were done well and were filling enough for her. Nothing else comes with the tacos. I had the Ruben sandwich. Nothing special, but the meat was tender and tasted like a regular Ruben. We had been here before and loved the food, beer choices, atmosphere. But this time we were very disappointed by the food and service. We ordered a roast beef sandwich and fries with beer cheese to share, a beer and an iced tea. Thank goodness we got those handed right to us. We visited The Woodshed for the free live music and had a great time! It’s a welcoming venue with plenty of space to sit, whether at tables or out on the grass. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for enjoying music outdoors.
There was ample parking when we arrived, though we could see it getting tight during busier events.
Overall, a great spot to unwind, listen to live music, and enjoy a casual evening out. We’d definitely come back!
