While staying at the Big Moose Inn and Campground, we checked out the Loose Moose. It is open until 9pm and we entered around 8:30pm. I never like coming to restaurants so close to closing time but the drive through Baxter State Park took longer than we expected. At any rate, we were still made to feel very welcome. Visiting friends in Maine. Beautiful area. Darling little restaurant and bar. Live music. Good service. Good drink and food. Such a fun evening. It is affiliated with the Big Moose Inn. Both were quiet charming. Met the owner and had a wonderful visit. Closes for the season. So happy we got to visit.
