“We had the passing of an older relative. I was desperately trying to plan an after services luncheon for a small group of about 30 people. It was nearly impossible . The owner of Cat Face Cafe was incredibly kind and understanding and accommodated us by closing a little bit early and allowing us to do a buyout. He was very fair and reasonable with the cost and so accommodating. I cannot stress what an excellent job he and his team did. The food was delicious, the place was perfect for our group and it was nice to celebrate our family member in such a cozy comfortable spot. Everyone was thrilled with ordering special coffees and having the unique sandwiches and delicious salads. I should add that this was all done with 48 hour notice. I wish we lived in town so that I could support this business. Great food, yummy drinks, kind staff and comfy environment. Support Cat Face Cafe! Thank you all again :)“

We ordered to the chicken nachos and chicken broccoli alfredo for dinner, and loved both meals. You could taste the ingredients were fresh and made to order. “Panera is a place where I worked when in secondary schools. It's been a place of quality standards. The foods are a treat, and similarly to years ago, if my diet includes animal products, then the frontera chicken sandwich is my go-to out of habit.

Food is super prompt- today it was so fast that I ordered my sandwich 5 minutes down the road and by the time I got there it was already!! I’ve never had a bad experience at this amatos. “We went to Portland pie with the kids for a quick bite on Saturday night. The place was bumping with two rooms full of patrons! Even though they were short-staffed, the servers were kind and courteous and even the store manager was on the floor lending a hand. He personally came to the table and apologized for the wait, but it wasn't bad at all, in my opinion. We had the harvest salad and the specialty pizza which was really good!

“If you know, you know. Amato's is one of the quintessential sandwich shops in Maine, and as a born-and-raised local, there really is nothing like it, as they proport in their slogan. When living out of state, every time I came home to visit, my first stop was for a Real Italian, a Moxie, and Humpty Dumpty All Dressed chips.

I've had a generic review here for years, but I needed to update it after this weekend. It was a busy Friday, I was on my way home from work and picking up an order my wife had placed for the whole family. I didn't have the order details, and so some of this was certainly my oversight, but when I arrived home, a sandwich was missing, and another was generously lacking in vegetables, though I would only learn this last bit on the drive back to the store.

Upon explaining the situation, no less than three staff members jumped to fix the situation, finding the lost sandwich, remaking the other, and additionally providing me with a quart-sized soup/salad container of freshly sliced veggies, just to make sure that we had all we needed. The customer service was - in a word - exceptional. I had even proclaimed that this was not enough to sour me as a customer, and they still insisted on going above and beyond.

“What a great choice while looking for healthy eating options while traveling on the road.
Wonderful salad with the beef option was the perfect combination of flavors.
Could really taste the charred taste on the beef patty which was good. I finished the salad the next day. Which was still tasty.
