This place is located right along the Penobscot River. They have plenty of tables, both high-top and low-top, around the restaurant and a spacious bar area with TVs. There's also outdoor seating overlooking the river. They have 20 craft beers, a good portion of which are from Maine, on draft and more in bottles. Obviously, given the reviews, the restaurant is known for service slower than cold molasses. My party was a group of myself and 4-5 other people. There was us and a couple other tables inside and I don't recall seeing anyone outside on the deck. That said, I didn't know it took almost an hour and a half to cook a plain macaroni and cheese. The food here is always right on point! Service can be a little slow, but I always make sure to leave enough time if I have plans after lunch or dinner. Dining outside by the river in the summer time is gorgeous, one of my favorite outdoor lunch spots in the area!
