The food here is always right on point! Service can be a little slow, but I always make sure to leave enough time if I have plans after lunch or dinner. Dining outside by the river in the summer time is gorgeous, one of my favorite outdoor lunch spots in the area!

This place is located right along the Penobscot River. They have plenty of tables, both high-top and low-top, around the restaurant and a spacious bar area with TVs. There's also outdoor seating overlooking the river. They have 20 craft beers, a good portion of which are from Maine, on draft and more in bottles. Obviously, given the reviews, the restaurant is known for service slower than cold molasses. My party was a group of myself and 4-5 other people. There was us and a couple other tables inside and I don't recall seeing anyone outside on the deck. That said, I didn't know it took almost an hour and a half to cook a plain macaroni and cheese.
