Came in around 5pm on 1/27/2024, and walked up to the counter. No greeting. I said Hello and started to tell the person behind the counter what I would like. She responds with "I'm actually in the middle of an order." I say no problem, I can wait. I figure it would be a couple of minutes. It was well over a 10 minute wait. Went in with my mother to get some sandwiches for the family. Needless to say it was without a doubt the worst customer service I've ever seen. When we first came in a young girl had said she would be right with us and she was very courteous. After a couple of minutes a man came from the back ranting about something he was upset about and proceeded to look at my mother and say something to the effect of "next sandwich!" Coming back from the Allagash our hungry crew of thirteen came in after lunchtime. Our sandwich chef was remarkably patient, and thoughtful (considering the crew was made up of 9 teenagers it was impressive). With the exception of a minor switch up, she handled the situation with experience and candor. Great place, even better ambiance, would go there again for sure. I will recommend it to friends in the future.
