Cinco de Mayo was incredibly busy as you can imagine, live music and no free tables! I ordered right after my friend, and they accidentally duplicated her order to me instead of what I ordered. I was happy to eat what she ordered but then at the end she said I should bring it to their attention. It’s my dad’s and my go-to lunch spot, especially after Sunday morning church. Since he can’t hear from his left ear due to surgery, noisy places are hard for him to tolerate. El Rayo is perfect because it has a calm, comfortable atmosphere.
Let me tell ya. This place man. Delish. The burritos are crafted with such precision and quality. I got the sweet potato one and will be getting it again. They have so many options. The tortillas are infatuating. To die for.
