I went to the coast of Maine for a couple of days and I saw Geary's Original Pale Ale for sale in a local store, and am I ever glad that I purchased a case! By far the finest pale ale that I have ever tasted in the US of A...it has the qualities of everything that I enjoy in a pale ale, thank you Geary's, I'll be back for more...
I came here specifically for their non alcoholic beer. I had the non alcoholic raspberry sour beer here. It was pretty good. Although it tasted more like a wheat beer than a sour beer. They also have a very nice outdoor patio area.
This was a small tasting room compared to most other breweries I’ve visited in the past. However, this is where size really doesn’t matter as it boils down to the potency and flavor of their brews. I have never heard of them previously (also did not even know they were the first NE craft brewery) but noticed patrons walking in and out from the other side of the street. I asked a local friend that I was with and he simply told me to go get a flight in, which I did not hesitate...
