Stopped by the Glass Lounge during our stay at the Hyatt Place in Portland for an after dinner drink and some dessert, both of which were great. The service here tonight was outstanding as well!
Bruce is a great Bartender!
Had a large get together, and tables were set and ready at our arrival. Started with a nice cocktail. Small menu, chose the burger. It was very dry, even adding mayo and ketchup didn't help as much. Great fries, though. One of our friends never got her meal, despite reminding our waitress twice. They did make it right when the bill came. Definitely a nice spot to grab a quick drink, but I would pass on the food.
Went for the Valentine's Day three course meal and they were out of one of three entree option, which was a huge bummer. The music was blasting and not st all relaxing. It was cold and the lights were too high, and the meal was overpriced for what it was. There was a single server working the bar and all tables. For all that, the bill was $250 for two people and a single glass of wine! Lastly, I said on the reservation that it was my wife's birthday, and they made no effort to acknowledge that. You're better off going to Evo, and we won't be going back to Glass.
brittany and eddie were out of the world as bartenders. their charm and drinks were stellar. i was disappointed in the liquor selection though... three tequila options.
Glass used to be a go to every weekend for cocktails after dinner before a night out. The new management has ruined this place. Glass used to have my favorite espresso martini in Portland and now they have gotten rid of all the ingredients to make their famous espresso martinis. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, and the new management has already run this place to the ground. Not usually a person to write a review but this place sucks now. It’s giving chain restaurant.
The new management at Glass Lounge have completely reduced this once high energy, local cocktail bar to a run of the mill chain restaurant. The new liquor selection is giving Applebees, in the middle of this foodie town. The music has been swapped for today’s hits and lost all elements of personal style that we all loved! Will no longer be coming back, after years of being a regular weekend guest. So sad to see another outsider come in and ruin a local favorite spot in Portland.

We love this bar, the bartenders were always nice and great service. Our third time at the Glass Lounge at the Hyatt Place. We will be back soon!
Great bartenders and service. Good drinks and conversation. Attractive and clean.

Drinks are amazing. Bartenders are awesome and are actually real bartenders that can make ANY drink!
This place is definitely a hidden gem. The cocktails are amazing. I would recommend “up in smoke”. The polenta fries are also a must try!
some of the heat cocktails in Portland... Eddie is amazing.. must stop for visiting portland.. Espresso Martini or Manhattan... both show stoppers
Great cocktails, wonderful entertainment and conversation. You won't regret stopping in for a drink. Thanks guys!
Not only are the cocktails generous and top shelf, if you choose, but the 'bites' were ample, delicious and satisfying.
