We love Sole Italiano. Last night we took friends from the midwest there for dinner. We lucked out and got Debbie for our server, whom we've had previously. She is one of the best, if not the best server at Sole. She knows the subtleties of the menu and was able to guide our guests to try a couple of selections that were out of their comfort zone, but turned out to be super enjoyable. One of our favorites in Portland. We brought friends from Florida and had an impeccable experience, from service to food. Always bring our out of town friends here. No one goes away without praise of the food!
We always have an incredible time at Solo. We love the fact the menu offers a Pasta Course, and a Main Course, so that we have the benefit of both. Everything is always cooked to perfection. We almost never order dessert at a restaurant, but could not bear to skip sharing the Tiramisu. It was as fabulous as the pasta and main.
