I was looking forward to trying The Rooms I had heard so much about. The restaurant seating was crowded with the two person tables about 18 inches apart and not enough room on the table to accommodate appetizers and dinners at the same time. We kept getting side eye from the couple next to us because we were talking and they obviously wanted quiet. It was so loud my husband couldn't hear me sometimes. My back was uncomfortable because it was against a wall shared by the bar...
We were seated right away having made a reservation. We had the onion soup and bone marrow appetizer to start which were very good. Husband had the trout and I had the chicken which were huge portions so expect to take some home. Service was excellent and the noise level was a bit loud mostly because there was a table of eight thirty something guys next to us. The open kitchen was great to watch. Can't wait to try another “Room” restaurant.
We had a great time!! Julio was a wonderful server and the bar tender was phenomenal!! The espresso martini made by “the Irishman” was the best I’ve ever had. Wonderful dinner!
