Rock City Café offers a relaxed atmosphere with funky alternative music and friendly baristas. This employee-owned coffee shop in downtown Rockland serves traditional coffee options and a light lunch selection of sandwiches and salads. The bakery items, including enormous cake-like cookies, are made in-house, and there is a great selection of freshly baked goods. Gluten-free and dairy-free options are available. The breakfast wraps, particularly the Reuben, Mexacali, and Lee's special, are amazing and highly recommended. The menu is huge and expansive, with a great selection of coffees brewed daily, delicious drinks like the iced chai latte and iced matcha, and good breakfast sandwiches. All the workers are friendly, helpful, patient, and nice. The cafe is cute and roomy with a variety of seating for dine-in or take-out, and food is brought to your table. It is a terrific cafe with great food, great coffee, and great vibes, popular with both locals and tourists.
