“i was there last night (friday PM) you guys were super busy with take out. i as correctly informed of the long cook time for my pizzas on the phone by "Joe R" and i'm assuming Joe was also the young man at the register taking cash and fielding so many complaints last night. he was calm apologetic and always kept a smile even when more than one customer berated him about the long wait times. i just wanted to say he handled everything so well and took far more bad behavior than he should ever have to deal with from the public. keep up the great work Joe. i'm so sorry so many "adults" are so very rude.“

“Amatos is a quintessential southern Maine experience. Good fresh food, wisecracking staff and no frills. There is a reason the original Italian has been around since 1908. But,if you want a simple and surprising treat, I get the poor boy and add a little pizza sauce.“

“I recently visited Pizza By Alex and it was such a fun, old-school experience. The pizza is definitely unique with that signature Greek-style crust and cheddar cheese blend that I haven't really found anywhere else. It feels like a real local landmark where time has stood still in the best way possible. The service was quick and friendly, and there is just a great, nostalgic vibe that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. It might not be for everyone if you're looking for traditional thin crust, but I really enjoyed trying something different and authentic.“

The pizza was cooked to perfection, with the ideal balance of crispness, char, and texture that New Haven-style pizza is known for. “Our very first visit to Antigoni's in Scarborough was several weeks ago after leaving daily cancer treatments for my husband. We are so glad we decided to pull in to check them out! We have been regular customers since! By "regular" I mean we have literally been there daily after my husband's treatments. The kind, warm and friendly welcoming we receive every single day when we walk in is wonderful. This family owned restaurant is a gem. Vinn, Julie and Aris it's truly been a pleasure to meet you all. They have made us laugh and lifted our spirits while serving us their amazing food. Great people, great menu that would suit anyone, lots of choices and great prices! Everything we have ordered has been wonderful. Their menu has something for everyone. We have tried their pasta, pizza, appetizers, salads, sandwiches. Everything has been delicious. Oh, and their desserts..amazing. Never in my life have we tried baklava~OUT OF THIS WORLD! We Won't miss going to cancer treatments after April 17th, but will definitely miss our daily visits at Antigoni's for so many reasons.
