“I ate there for the first time tonight and had the pot roast, mashed potatoes and peas special. That was the best pot roast I've ever had. Zero fat, tender and so delicious! I was still talking about it after we got home and my husband said I should call and tell you! I opted to write a review instead to let EVERYONE know. I'll keep my eye out for that special again.”

“Probably one of the biggest hidden gems in Maine. My wife and I have been going to Vittles for years and we have never had a bad meal. Always leave super happy. They are also very kid friendly which makes it easy to go out with the two kids. Cant recommend then enough. Always delicious from scratch dishes. Everyone should be showing them some love!”

“Picked up an order today. Beautiful portions, reasonably priced and some of the best Chinese food I’ve had since coming to Maine. The staff is friendly and competent and the food is extremely fresh and well prepared. I travel from Dover Foxcroft to Dexter for this restaurant and it’s well worth the drive. Definitely five star establishment.”

Decor is eclectic...Star Wars to Marvel to seascapes spray painted on the walls.
Food is decent, beer is decenter. They have a full bar which seemed to draw in a good crowd.”

“A solid Subway location. We often stop on our way through Dexter and it never disappoints. Brayden and Andi are top notch sandwich artists! The dining area is always clean and the food is always fresh. Definitely drive on past the Newport shop (really gross) and stop in Dexter instead. It’s worth the wait!”

“the burgers and fries were amazing! the bacon cooked perfectly! the only thing that took me by surprise was the pickles were sweet, not dill. so if you don't like sweet pickles on your burger, just ask for no pickles because the burger itself is soooo good, and worth getting! my boyfriend had jalapeños added to his, and she loaded them right on for him. he loves lots of jalapeños, so that was a plus for him. I loved the fries and how they were definitely home cut! I personally will go back! totally worth it!”

“Been here a few times in newport went insode smelled kinda bad but wasnt planning on eatting in so we got to the ordering part price online and price at store not the same had to pay like 8 dollars more then right in the middle another employee came over interrupted rudely only wanting to exchange a 20$ bills for a different 20$ bill think it could have waiting a second but guess not. Food was ok had less meat in them then the day before i had stopped and went thru drive thru and got same thing. It is fast food so what do u expect i guess.”

“Thanksgiving morning, the drive thru line was out to the street and the line inside was just as long. Everyone on staff was very pleasant and greeted us with smiles despite working on a busy holiday. Considering the lines, our food came out fast and it was well constructed and perfectly toasted. It hit the spot!”

“My family and I have enjoyed subways sandwiches for many years, but since we've started getting our sandwiches made by one special employee a nice women named Tammy they have been amazingly delicious. She take the time to understand what you want and her customer service is unbelievable. Always ask me how I'm doing and if my son isn't with me she always ask how he doing.. she has become one amazing sandwhich artist.”

“I make sure to stop here for lunch each year on my way up to Moosehead Lake for my annual fishing trip. This Subway is very clean, the ingredients are fresh, and the workers make a great sub! The Italian BMT is always deliscious. I highly recommend the footlong on herb & cheese bread and having them "toast" it.

Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring the family for a quick bite to each. With a variety of subs on the menu, there's surely something for everyone. Even for kids who are picky eaters.”
