“My husband and I have driven by this place so many times 🚗 but never had the chance to stop. Today we were in the area at just the right time and finally made it happen 🙌 OMGSH we are so glad we did! The food was outstanding, the homemade bread was incredible 🥖 and everything was so fresh. Our server Emily was an absolute blast 😄 She was fun, sarcastic (just the way we like it 😉) and made us feel like we were regulars from the moment we sat down. It’s one of those places where everyone seems to know each other, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming 🩷 We live a little over an hour away, but this spot is absolutely worth the drive. We’ll definitely be back! ✨ Sorry no food pics… we were too hungry 😆🍽️”

“Very unimpressed by a pizza that I was excited to try based on reviews. the "Venus Fly Trap" pie was a huge letdown...cheap tasting pepperoni, flavorless ricotta, and bland "hot" honey. My roommate tried a slice and was equally disappointed. Not sure I will try again.”

As an introvert waiting for over an hour the rest of my party to arrive, the bartenders made me feel welcome and offered samples to try to make sure I found something I liked. Clean, comfortable, and delicious (my friends really enjoyed their drinks too)! I will definitely be back.”

“Came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and his wish was absolutely met! Perfectly cooked burger with all the toppings and crispy onion rings. It’s the kind of burger that doesn’t feel too heavy on your stomach, with fresh ingredients. We can’t wait to go back!!!”

“Sanford House of Pizza has been the go to Pizza shop in Sanford for 50 years. The House Special is the best in the area! If you are looking for a Sandwich the hot grinders are delicious. Make sure to try a Big beef or Super beef, these are incredible!

“the cook tries to involve all his customers with a little conversation while depending on the night the bartenders may or may not be friendly.. hit or miss for that. Atmosphere is usually the same most nights with it being a little more busy on Thursdays and fridays but with the same crowd. Alot of good people go and I would recommend popping in for cheap drinks with a member and see how the live music is. Great musicians vibe out on stage. Great local spot. A great back up plan for a night out IMO”

“Coming here is a highlight to my summer!! The employees are always the sweetest and easiest to talk to! Compared to others restaurants, the bbq joint is the cleanest joint around. Overall, I would say that this place has improved in taste, cleanliness, and service from the past few years!”

“We were passing through and happened to see Hanna's Tavern. It's a bit hidden, but it was more than worth it. Joe is very very nice. The atmosphere there was great, the food was great and the music was great. As German tourists, we were very impressed.”

They told me they'd be right with me as I approached the cashier and both drinks I ordered were made perfectly . They even brought the drinks to me as I sat in a chair waiting. “Steph the bartender was awesome. Super friendly and held down the whole place herself for drinks and food. The pool tables are high quality and the cues are also not warped or broken (which I now expect when I vacation) which I REALLY appreciate. This is a local feeling hang out spot with an extensive bar, good bar food, and great staff. To the gentleman who works there who helped me find the triangle- I appreciate you- I would have been there all night 🤣. Although there were a lot of men there this doesn’t feel like a pick up place- it’s definitely a “everyone is just here to have fun or eat or watch the game” which is also appreciated as someone who was visiting the area.”

“So, for the most part, everything was excellent...except for my friends steak. She complained initially of it being under cooked. The staff you awesome and very nice about sending it back. Once she get it back though, it was rubbery and chewy. But everything else including the staff, the other food we ordered, timely manner of the food and drinks, etc was awesome. I would recommend Applebee's in Sanford ME!”
