“I stayed at a hotel nearby, and visited this bar quite frequently while in town. The bartenders were awesome and super accommodating, and the locals were very welcoming. Great beer and food, chill atmosphere. Keep Dewing yo thang 😉“

“Commercial Street Pub is the kind of place that feels like home—if your home had better beer, great music, and a bartender who could probably run the country if she felt like it. John and Tracy, the dynamic duo running the joint, are like your fun aunt and uncle at a wedding—but with better booze and slightly more control over the jukebox. John knows everyone’s name within 10 minutes, whether you told him or not. Tracy will invite you over for good food and a party within the hour. Then there’s Emily, the bartender. A legend. She pours drinks with the grace of a ballerina and the side-eye of someone who has seen things. Ask her for a drink and she'll make you the best one you've ever had. She’s got a sixth sense for knowing exactly what drink you need—even before you do. The regulars are great too. All in all, Commercial Street Pub is the kind of place where everybody makes it fun. The vibe is exactly what you want in a neighborhood pub: easygoing, cheerful, and just the right amount of quirky. One visit and you’ll understand why people keep coming back. If you’re looking for a pub with charm, great company, and the kind of staff that makes you feel like family, Commercial Street Pub is the place to be. “Fantastic dive bar with falling apart pneumatic chairs, cigarette funk, outdoor area and 2 pool tables. Don't order a fancy drink. Basics only here.CASH ONLY and you pay as you drink. We have a bunch of fun here after a semi-stressful Thanksgiving. Thanks for being open!“
“We just happened upon this bar and they invited our dogs in, so welcoming and such a great vibe, Chase, the bartender can make you anything that you don't find on the menu, he is passionate about his drinks. Just a great experience while visiting Portland.“

“Nice big place. Big bar. They have pool tables and dart boards here. Good place for big groups of people. Alot of tables. A couple of tv's and plenty of parking. The outside deck is nice with plenty of picnic tables and umbrellas. The food menu selection is huge. The food is pretty good. I feel like I'm always expecting more from the food. The chicken wings need to be cooked more.
I do recommend this place. I just tend to order things I know im safe with here.“
“We recently visited (5 adults and two young kids) and had a great time. Really only one of the adults had any knowledge or experience with golf. It was still fun for everyone. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Food was great! And we ended our outing with ice cream right next door. We will be back!“

“We stopped here after my husband a job in Scarborough, and wow… what an incredible surprise. The whole place has that true Maine vibe — cozy, welcoming, and super friendly. Our server Eric was awesome from start to finish. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and absolutely loved it. I had the butternut squash linguine with prosciutto, roasted squash, arugula, and their homemade crostini bread… incredible. I even saved half so I could enjoy it again another day. Hubby tried two of their 5oz beers (Space Ghost and Santa’s Reinbeer) and enjoyed both. But the show-stealer? The apple crisp cheesecake. 🍎 Hubby took one bite and said, “This is so good it should be outlawed.” And honestly, he wasn’t wrong. It was ridiculous in the best way. We left talking about how we’re glad we live two hours away, because we’d be here every day if we didn’t. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. Amazing food, great vibe, great service.“
