She’s got a sixth sense for knowing exactly what drink you need—even before you do. The regulars are great too. All in all, Commercial Street Pub is the kind of place where everybody makes it fun. “We stopped here after my husband a job in Scarborough, and wow… what an incredible surprise. The whole place has that true Maine vibe — cozy, welcoming, and super friendly. Our server Eric was awesome from start to finish. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and absolutely loved it. I had the butternut squash linguine with prosciutto, roasted squash, arugula, and their homemade crostini bread… incredible. I even saved half so I could enjoy it again another day. Hubby tried two of their 5oz beers (Space Ghost and Santa’s Reinbeer) and enjoyed both. But the show-stealer? The apple crisp cheesecake. 🍎 Hubby took one bite and said, “This is so good it should be outlawed.” And honestly, he wasn’t wrong. It was ridiculous in the best way. We left talking about how we’re glad we live two hours away, because we’d be here every day if we didn’t. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. Amazing food, great vibe, great service.“

“Townhouse Pub is a trap. A beautiful, chaotic, feral little trap. You walk in for one drink and suddenly it’s hours later, your voice is gone, your phone battery is at 6%, (no worries, chargers AT the bar) and you’re having the time of your life. The drinks are criminally good and the vibes are unhinged in the best way possible. And Bailey?? Absolute feral bartender energy (in the best way). Lightning fast, dangerously funny, pours like she’s trying to solve your problems, and somehow runs the entire bar while roasting you and making you feel loved at the same time. “Completely ignored by bartenders who were too busy taking selfies when their bar wasn't even full. If you want service don't come here, if you want to wait 20 minutes for a drink this is the place for you. Went Bull Feeney's instead and was welcomed and waited on immediately.“

“This place was wonderful. We walking around Old Port and want to have a cocktail and found this place. The bartender was a very sweet young lady. She was excellent and took great care of us. We had their chowder and some drinks. Everything was A+ service. The chowder was delicious. I’m glad we stop by. We like to support local businesses. I would recommend this place to all visitors to Portland, Maine.“

“This is a gem of a restaurant. The food is consistent. The ambiance is stunning. We were a party of 2 on a busy night so the wait for drinks, between courses, and for dessert was entirely too long. I am not sure if it was just too much work for too few servers.“

“I had the bone in Rib-eye medium Well. Came out fast and Perfect!! Extra broccoli and an order of Asparagus. I did order the Candied Hanging Bacon, Had to. The waitress came out and seared it right at the table. I’m for sure coming back!“
