“Townhouse Pub is a trap. A beautiful, chaotic, feral little trap. You walk in for one drink and suddenly it’s hours later, your voice is gone, your phone battery is at 6%, (no worries, chargers AT the bar) and you’re having the time of your life. The drinks are criminally good and the vibes are unhinged in the best way possible. And Bailey?? Absolute feral bartender energy (in the best way). “Our new favorite bar in Portland. We Went in with the family for a few drinks. The staff were extremely helpful, came right over to make sure we had a table and took our order. The atmosphere was great and they had some cool drinks. We will definitely be back, thanks again 👍

“We stopped here after my husband a job in Scarborough, and wow… what an incredible surprise. The whole place has that true Maine vibe — cozy, welcoming, and super friendly. Our server Eric was awesome from start to finish. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and absolutely loved it. I had the butternut squash linguine with prosciutto, roasted squash, arugula, and their homemade crostini bread… incredible. I even saved half so I could enjoy it again another day. Hubby tried two of their 5oz beers (Space Ghost and Santa’s Reinbeer) and enjoyed both. But the show-stealer? The apple crisp cheesecake. 🍎 Hubby took one bite and said, “This is so good it should be outlawed.” And honestly, he wasn’t wrong. It was ridiculous in the best way. We left talking about how we’re glad we live two hours away, because we’d be here every day if we didn’t. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area. “Dinner at The Chart Room at Black Point Inn was easily one of the highlights of our Maine trip. We started with fresh oysters and warm rolls, followed by a lobster roll and the Black Point Burger with perfectly cooked, crispy fries. We finished with dessert, and judging by the empty plate, I’d say that speaks for itself.

The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The burger was cooked exactly as ordered, the lobster roll was packed with sweet lobster meat, and even the bread service stood out. But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere. Watching the sun begin to set over the water from the outdoor patio made for an unforgettable dining experience.

The service was friendly, attentive, and never rushed, allowing us to relax and enjoy the evening.

If you’re visiting the Scarborough area, make a reservation around sunset. Between the incredible views, outstanding food, and excellent service, The Chart Room is absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I had the bone in Rib-eye medium Well. Came out fast and Perfect!! Extra broccoli and an order of Asparagus. I did order the Candied Hanging Bacon, Had to. The waitress came out and seared it right at the table. I’m for sure coming back!“
