“Smaller than I thought for dine in, only a few booths. You order from the counter and sit until they bring you your order. The food came out fast and was delicious. Portions were good. Several people in and out getting takeout from this place just after 5 pm. I'm pretty sure we were the only dine in while we were there.Parking: There were spots on both sides of the building (multiple businesses). I actually parked in the back, not realizing the entrance was on the other side.“

If you have an unusual bad experience, I recommend talking to Pamela. She will make it right.I used to love this place. I would get a dark hot chocolate almost everyday at lunch time with a sandwich. Today, I came before work and ordered a dark hot chocolate and red storm sandwich. I tried a sip while they were finishing up my sandwich and I barely tasted chocolate. I’m not sure if it wasn’t mixed completely or what but I mentioned to the window lady that my hot chocolate wasn’t really chocolatey at all so she took the drink and handed it off to a different girl. This different girl starts pumping away at the chocolate giving me a dirty look, then walks to the window and hands me my drink saying “it has SIX pumps of chocolate in it” ?. A very fake smile and clearly didn’t care about customer satisfaction. I would have been fine with one extra pump but instead she clearly wanted to ruin the drink. It’s now too sweet to drink. Terrible customer service. She worked barista at 8:30am today and has thick lash extensions. Hope she finds a job she enjoys…“
“This is a really nice place with really great food, and the staff is so welcoming it just creates an astonishingly enjoyable atmosphere. Would give ten stars per category if I could. Drove up all the way from Texas just for lobster and this place did not dissappoint! Definitely worth the visit.“
“My partner and I had a wonderful experience here. The process of building a terrarium was very easy with the guidance of the team there. We found it especially calming and enjoyable to be surrounded by plants as we created our tiny worlds. Local beverages were a great added touch. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for date spot, friend group activity, or solo activity! Good vibes all around.“
“I had the most amazing meal here yesterday. The waitress was so kind and sweet. Even though she was busy but she took time to answer my questions. Their pho broth was so flavorful and clean after finishing my bowl I felt so good. All the food looks amazing and all made to order. I especially love their crab rangoons. I was told it was made with fresh crabmeat. Which is something you don’t fine anywhere else. Most place are crab flavor or imitation crab. I will definitely be coming back here again. If you are in the area don’t pass up this incredible gem❤️“
“Verbena is simply the best. The food is fresh & always yummy, the staff is exceptional, and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy! They offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options as well. I always look forward to grabbing lunch at Verbena!Parking: Parking can definitely be tricky due to the many businesses along Ocean Street, but they do have a free parking lot behind the building along E Street as well!“
“My son had a track meet at USM. There was some time between his events so we decided to grab some lunch. I had The Dude. It was very good. I asked for modifications ( no cheese, plain mayo) and the sandwich was made the way I requested. My husband had roast beef. He seemed to enjoy it as he ate the whole thing. As we were eating one of the employees came up to us and said the made a double order of our sandwiches and gave us two more sandwiches. They could have thrown them out. We probably won't be back only because we don't live in the area. However, if we did I would definitely go back.“
“We visited this restaurnt for the first time today, but it won't be the last. The lobster eggs benedict was the best breakfast I've had since living in Maine, and that's saying something! The price was very reasonable; the service was excellent, and the space is lovely. I can't wait to go back and try the Belgian waffle!“

“The waitress was excellent! She listened and quickly responded to our requests. We did go at a slower time of day, so that likely helped. But it was a great experience and I'd recommend this place! I had the soup, salad and bread sticks. My friend requested extra veggies in the salad and they did put them in.“
“I ordered three rolls, a classic California, beef tataki, and the dynamite roll.Placed my takeout order in person, and it was ready quickly within 10-15 minutes. Any modifications I requested were adhered to, and the rolls themselves taste fresh, and really good. Can’t wait to try more!“
