Engrain

Engrain is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the Berwick/Somersworth/Dover area. I always do build your own bowls with salmon and I am never disappointed. The bake goods are delicious! The black bean brownies are so rich and decadent and the semolina jam cookies are amazing (especially the Maine blueberry)! I wish I had a picture but I ate my food so fast! This was my first time eating here and I got the special, buffalo pulled chicken sandwich. It was so delicious and the ingredients were fresh. It tasted like the chef cared about the food and after tasting the ingredients, I knew this was food that was properly sourced and wouldn't upset my stomach. It was full of so much flavor.
