But last time I was in there, I had shorts on with a short sleeve shirt on, and it was utterly freezing in there 🥶🥶🥶 9/18. It's okay, though the food was still great. My coffee was good. But I would say, let up on the air conditioning just a little bit. Other than that a fabulous place.“

Also filled with local products jams, sauces and mustards (btw are amazing) friendly staff that are very helpful and knowledgeable! “Excellent food and drinks! A fun spot to go for martinis. I've lived in the area for over 4 years and hadn't stepped in until last night. The pecan crusted chicken is SO TASTY. I would order that again in a heartbeat. We also had the buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken was crispy and hot and the sweet potato fries were a nice accompaniment. They also brought out rolls with strawberry butter.

I tried 2 martinis, the grapefruit cosmo and the lemon drop (but I switched the blueberry vodka to raspberry vodka). Both were really good.

The place is split into 2 sections. The right side is the bar, which was packed and we weren't able to get a spot there. The dining room area to the left is a little bit quieter.“

I remember these old mills (Clarostat) when I was a young girl and I was pleasantly surprised to see how they’ve been transformed! There’s an outdoor deck with picnic tables on the water. The food has always been very good. \n\nIn pre-COVID times, there was a buffet that I used to come here for at lunchtime with a friend.\n\nWhen I arrived at 4:00 PM on a Monday, I was the only patron there. Monday is a slow day for dine-in here. Monday is a slow day in the restaurant business anway which is why many restautants are closed on Mondays.\n\nAfter browsing the menu, I decided on and ordered the Chicken Chow Mein Dinner Plate which Mei Wei calls a Combination Platter. For the appetizer, I took Chicken Fingers. For the side dish, I took Pork Fried Rice. It was $15.50. With NH 8.5% Meals Tax of $1.23, the total was $15.73.\n\nMy food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Since everything there is cooked to order, it was a relatively short wait. \n\nEverything was well prepared. The Chow Mein was a little different from other chow meins. Instead of a lot of bean sprouts, it had shredded bok choy, plus sliced celery and onion. It was interesting. Bok choy and bean sprouts have similar nutrition.\n\nThe fried rice was freshly-made. It was slightly moist. The chicken fingers were fried to a light golden color. They were cooked all the way through. The batter was not pasty in the middle.\n\nI very much enjoyed my meal there. \n\nI had plenty of leftovers to take home – about half the food on my plate.\n\nService was excellent. The two employees out front were friendly.\n\nI rate my experience at Mei Wei Asian Restaurant at 4.50 and can recommend eating here. \n\nThe reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues that put me 11 months behind for quite awhie, but I’m now getting caught up.\n\nIf you found this review useful, please click the THUMBS UP to indicate HELPFUL.“

“My best friend and I are phô fanatics and had been pretty let down by the quality of our once favorite Thai place. We went searching for a new place to try and stumbled across Thai Taste. When I tell you this is absolutely our new favorite restaurant, I am not exaggerating. The meat in the phô was so tender it fell apart. The noodles had the right amount of bite, the veggies were fresh and the broth was to DIE for. Our crab Rangoon and dumplings were also amazing. That’s not even what really made this experience amazing though! The customers there seemed to be regulars and were so kind and easy to talk to. Topping it off with ridiculously perfect service and an owner who was clearly passionate, talented, and kind - it was clear this was a rare gem. Do yourself a favor and go. I live in Manchester and I will gladly drive the hour just to go here. They have a customer for life.“
