“i love this aroma joes!! however the past three times i’ve ordered a bagel, it doesn’t come in a foil bag and is instead just thrown in a bagel bag which then causes it to be cold by the time i get home!! i’ve worked at an aromas joes and i’ve done all the trainings and i’ve been told things such as i’m unable to pay half cash/half card, or that they aren’t allowed to put cream cheese on a bagel they are serving… some of those trainings aren’t followed well at all!! other than this issue i love this aroma joes it’s very convenient for me!”

“On 12SEPT25, I patronized the Standish Subway and it was excellent. The food was excellent and the Service was timely, efficient, and courteous. The dining area, table tops, and floor were all clean. Thank you. This Subway location is the best out of all of them in the Greater Portland area. I have been to all the other locations and those suck. The Scarborough location the Staff is intimidating, rude, cannot understand English, over charge, and try to sell other items other than what you ordered. The Gorham location if you order and pay online will cheat you and say you did not order anything but will not refund you your money. The Staff there lies, are intimidating, and does not understand English. The Westbrook location always is out of what you want to order. The Staff there too is intimidating. The Portland locations, Pride's Corner, and a little further North on 302 to Windham, the Staff at both these locations are intimidating, like they are doing you a favor. The Falmouth location the Staff there too does not understand English, and are doing you a favor by taking your order. I will not go to these locations ever again. The Standish location is my last stand. If they ever fail, I am out of luck. So far, they are exceptional. I have to travel from South Portland to dine there. However, for me, it is always worth the trip. Remember, this is Fast Food dining. If you want better then go to the Regency Hotel Restaurant on Milk Street in Portland. That will set you Back $200.00 to $300.00 for one person vs. $15.00 for Standish Subway. How much do you want to pay? I prefer paying $15.00 vs. $300.00 for eating out. “Sharing a few words about our incredible dinner recently. I had the best Bolognese ever. The Caprese salad was amazing as well. My lovely lady raved about the salmon she had. And the service was outstanding. Outstanding experience in every possible way. Thank you! We will be back soon!”

“Upon entering the restaurant we found the decor to be warm and inviting. We had a 5:30pm reservation, were sat immediately, and provided a glass milk bottle filled with cold fresh water. We ordered our drinks; two Apple Press’ and Substance on draft. The Apple Press was a well designed cocktail! During our visit we also ordered a mojito and an espresso martini, which were equally wonderful! For dinner we ordered a Rosemary Chicken Pie, Brick Chicken and the House BBQ. The food was levels above anything we’ve had at other restaurants in the area. Everything is homemade and seasoned to perfection with large portions that will more than satisfy your appetite. We ordered a slice of Espresso Cream Cheesecake to go. Throughout our visit, our server Michaela, was attentive and it was clear she cared about making our experience a great one! We will be enjoying many more meals at Yolked Farm to Table. Hint: Make sure you make a reservation if you want to ensure a table. The restaurant filled up quickly while we were there and stayed full.”

“This is a two part review… first about the food and second about the owners. The food: my boyfriend and I have been dying to try out the blue pig for some time now. We were able to get there this past Sunday and wow, just wow!! Every single thing on the menu looked amazing. We had deliciously flavored mimosas, their amazing boozy espresso, the spicy pulled chicken and a brisket Benedict special. Every single bite was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavored. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time… we will be back!! The owners, Paul and Brianna: the nicest and most kind humans! We rode our motorcycles there, something we haven’t done much this summer due to our crazy schedules.. after our wonderful meal, my boyfriend’s brand new bike wouldn’t start. We went back in asking for a couple tools to try and get it started. Both Brianna behind the bar and Paul in the kitchen took time out of tending to their very busy business to help us. Paul brought out tools, a jumper pack, and tried to help get the bike started. When it wouldn’t start, they moved their own vehicle and let us push the bike into their spot where their cameras would be on it overnight while we worked on getting a tow. To stop what they were doing and take the time to help us out while running a busy restaurant just blew us away. We are both business owners and understand the value of not only going above and beyond, but just being kind humans. The blue pig is our new spot, and we will be recommending to everyone we know!”

“I went there today for the first time in a couple months and decided to grab a cheese danish like I always do, but today they had a chocolate chip danish and let me tell you it is delicious. It taste like you’re biting into cookie dough. I also grabbed a cinnamon roll of course for tomorrow morning highly recommend them everything I’ve gotten is good. Been going there for three years.”

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we were able to dine outside on a sunny afternoon. I had the 3-lobster dinner, my wife had the broiled clams and haddock. Super delicious ! The interior is exactly what you’d expect: familiar, no-nonsense, and comforting in that “we’ve all been here before” kind of way. The only twist? The woman at the register is genuinely friendly — not forced, just kind. You can almost see into the kitchen through the tiny pass-through window, which somehow makes it feel even more legit. Every time I visit my son nearby, I order the same combo plate. Why mess with perfection? You get two chicken wings, two chicken fingers, two beef teriyaki, two chicken teriyaki, boneless spare ribs, and a portion of chicken lo mein that is definitely not a “side.” It’s practically a full order on its own. I easily get two meals out of it every time. That’s not a complaint — that’s a strategy.

We also ordered scallion pancakes. Now let’s be honest: most places use frozen ones. We all know it. But for whatever reason, these came out super crispy and not greasy at all. That alone deserves recognition. Crispy without the oil slick? That’s a win.
