“The Inn is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We missed it after leaving to go other places. The breakfast was outstanding. I loved the big fireplace in the pub. Our room was warm and the bathroom roomy with generous amounts of pleasant smelling shampoo and body wash. Just very comfortable and charming.“
“Wow! What an unexpected and excellent spot! We stumbled upon it but we’re incredibly impressed. My Greek salad with grilled pita, chicken and a homemade tzatziki was off the hook! My son ordered a chicken sandwich that he said was just about the best he’s ever had. The fries were perfectly crispy and not at all greasy. Top quality food and a great selection at the bar and on tap. Will be back.“
“Outstanding. The food was delicious, the beer was cold. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was good, live instrumental Irish music.Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of gluten free options. The gluten free bread substitute is also actually good bread.Parking: Lots of 2 hour day parking spots on the street in front.“
“Found this while looking for a place in Brunswick to get lunch. I thought the food looked great online and wow, the prices were great! Very professional, culinary kitchen. Clean and quality ingredients. You can't beat it! I owned a business by Bates College, so I knew it was worth a go, hlad I did! Definitely will be back! It's a bit tricky to find using the Google maps, so plan extra time to navigate the campus.Vegetarian options: Saw optionsKid-friendliness: Kids love chicken fingers!“
“Great Food, Great Service, Fun Environment! A wonderful neighborhood spot with deep roots in the history of Maine's hometown original soft drink, Moxie. The food across the board for our large party, which included: pork tenderloin medallions, steak tips, wings, risotto, chicken fingers, Poutin, and American Chop Suey were all phenomenal! A nice family run restaurant that should definitely be tried if you're in the area.“
“Went to Railroad diner with some friends for their Saturday afternoon Blues Jam. Had a great time. The food was pretty good, well cooked and seasoned. Drinks were great. The bartender she had a nice heavy pour. It was really cool that they let any musician get up on stage and jam. Lisbon has a few talented musicians out here. Can't wait to go again.“
“Irish bars - where the Guinness flows like milk and honey and the crash of broken glass hitting the floor gets a "heeey" with glasses raised - the beautiful brogue compliments and politeness (es) male bartenders with a welcoming smile and in-depth knowledge of the Irish golfers and soccer teams - but that's not here at all. I'm hanging on to the hope that my 4 stars will not have to be updated as the scales of bar justice can only tip downward hence forth. Perhaps I have a false sense of self - but I'm a freakin great customer - I spend hundreds of dollars a month on eating, drinking and making Merry at the midcoast Maine bars - y'all business owners better take notice of me and respect the badge, my writing power and my posse - cause I'll turn you out if I must. And when beady eyes behind the bar set upon me, they're not saying"welcome back valued customer" they're saying "it's him again" the concentric circles, the common center must not be broken with new faces and new money - Be the region between the two concentric circles - I think it's called annulus, be that, not an assulus. The folks at the bar are quite the opposite, they're friendly and engaging- one guy was dancing to live music, caulking around the AC while drinking drafts and discussing Him Morrison with me as I sat alone in a dark corner. This is what Irish bars are - just gotta inform the barmaid- only one, the other is quite nice - and the big guy - I'm betting a s*** of Jamison that he's the owner- always running around the back, cooking up great meals - try his Steak and Cheese, the twelve inch pizza which beady eye called "fourteen" - duh - is $9.00 and big guys got a heavy topping hand, smothering that pie with the pepperoni that does that high heat trigger shaped twist - like a tulip pedal holding the little droplets of oil inside.“
“Wow! GRITTY'S in Freeport IS BETTER!!!I was happy since I had not been to Gritty's in a few years. The French fries with the Fish and Chips (not nearly enough provided, but it was okay) were not only gross, but they were soggy, greasy, and tasted like old fryer oil. That was my only disappointment because...My Husband's meal (Lamb Burger, delivered simultaneously) had COMPLETELY different FRIES, and THEY WERE FRESH, not soggy or greasy, and had NO fryer oil taste.I have never understood why people put fries UNDER fish and chips.Parking: They have a private parking lot.“
“Friendly, easy to mobile order, except they didn’t put any utensils in the bag or ask if we need any. My bad, my balsamic chicken and mashed potatoes still tasted good. ? fries are better fresh, mastic burger is just that. Good meal over all.“
