Cool funky vibe in this cozy, artistic space (check out the wood cuts by AC Kulik). If available try the ginger apple bourbon its Fall in a glass. Seating is limited so get there early.”

“Bagels and english muffin sandwiches were very tasty. Iced Latte and Matcha latte (hot) were good. The matcha was a very dark green matcha and it was not too sweet.

“This place is doing absolutely beautiful things for this community. We had heard about it on one of the MDI pages. My husband and I wanted to check out the popovers but what we walked away with was so much more. We were welcomed in by the volunteers, given directions on how it all worked, and were able to have some incredible popovers while listening to music. We returned our last morning on island with our entire family, including our two dogs and enjoyed popovers as we sung along to songs from the Common Good Band. It was my 7 months olds first time on the island and I am so glad she got to experience all of that. Incredible Popovers, Awesome atmosphere and great cause. We can’t wait to come back on our next visit.”

“We had a mess up on the pizza yesterday but this place came good on it plus more!!! Also the pizza was absolutely delicious a family of five (out of two pizzas) only had two slices left. Our drinks were always full, we left full without much to take home, and the service was friendly and on point. Great job at this unique restaurant and sports bar! “My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Red Sky last night. The pale yellow walls highlight colorful paintings by local artists, creating a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. Diners ranged from casually dressed to more formal. We enjoyed excellent martinis, delicious appetizers, and a perfectly prepared main course—followed by a dessert we couldn’t resist. The flavors, featuring local ingredients, were outstanding. Service was impeccable—attentive without hovering. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!”

“An AMAZING breakfast find in the Bar Harbor area! The food was so delicious that I was/will be a regular whenever I'm in Bar Harbor. The food tastes homemade and super fresh. “I was hired to shoot a wedding at The Asticou this fall and it was such an amazing experience! I didn't want to leave at the end of the night. I'm not exaggerating when I say that If I get booked there again I will try to get a room of my own and make a weekend out of it! I've shot at many venues in the Bar Harbor/Acadia area and this is probably my favorite. The venue is gorgeous, the grounds are scenic, and the staff is wonderful. I was particularly smitten with the design of the reception hall. Beautiful paintings everywhere. I was able to get some amazing portraits of the bride and groom in the botanical garden across the street. You simply can't go wrong with The Asticou for a wedding, event, or for your vacation lodgings.”
