“Me and my boyfriend stopped by for dinner during shoulder season in Acadia (October) and had an amazing experience! We got the traveler smash burger and the smokehouse fried chicken sandwich (plus fries). We both preferred the chicken, although both were delicious! I think this is the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had: wasabi flavor, crisp cucumber, and sweet bbq sauce. The fries were good but a little bit salty — get some to share rather than an order each!

Service was so lovely as well, would go back in a heartbeat.”

“This place is doing absolutely beautiful things for this community. We had heard about it on one of the MDI pages. My husband and I wanted to check out the popovers but what we walked away with was so much more. We were welcomed in by the volunteers, given directions on how it all worked, and were able to have some incredible popovers while listening to music. We returned our last morning on island with our entire family, including our two dogs and enjoyed popovers as we sung along to songs from the Common Good Band. It was my 7 months olds first time on the island and I am so glad she got to experience all of that. Incredible Popovers, Awesome atmosphere and great cause. We can’t wait to come back on our next visit.”

From hidden coves to sweeping coastal views, every moment on the water felt like a scene from a dream. “The vegan options for dinner elsewhere on the island looked pretty uninspiring, so I went here and have no regrets. Had the broccolini and mapo tofu. The mapo tofu was a bit atypical, but delicious, and the greens were also good. Great for takeout, and I'm glad some of the revenue goes back to the community. “Can’t say enough fantastic things about this restaurant and the staff. This dinner was definitely the standout of all our meals from our trip to Maine. James personally came over to our table to go through our food allergies which was so appreciated. Really kind, lovely people and a great establishment. The care for the food and the customer really shines through. Highlights include the ribs, lobster risotto, lamb, mussels, and scallops. All the best and love from NYC!”

“Ordered a panini and was mistakenly given someone else’s order with 3 paninis. Once I returned to the register and informed the staff they immediately worked on sorting it out. Not only did they make sure my correct order was out in the next five minutes, they refunded my entire purchase. The food was definitely worth it and I would come back and eat here again. “Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!”
