Chef Jacque was so friendly and hospitable. We tried the breakfast crepe with sausage and a basic crepe and they were fresh and delicious. Excellent service and hospitality. If you ever visit Wells, Maine be sure to stop and check his crepe wagon out.
Our crew is from VA.
We’ve been driving by for a few summers. Had an opportunity to stop today…& honestly the best seafood chowder I’ve ever eaten.
Best regards to the Chef, from his newest customers from the NEK of VT
My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of finding this gem today. This is our first time visiting Maine(from Philadelphia) Chef Jacques is the best, hands down! His food is amazing and his personality goes along with it! He’s a one man show. We will definitely be back…He made the 8 hr drive worth it😁

Chef Jacques Crepe and Chowder Wagon is a charming food truck offering a relaxed dining experience. Their clam chowder is a standout, described by many as the best in Wells, with a hearty mix of tender clams, potatoes, and celery in a perfectly seasoned broth. Crepes are also a highlight, with options like Nutella with strawberries and bananas, and an apple crepe with salted caramel. The crepes are made fresh and are praised as delicious, both savory and sweet, with some customers calling them "to die for." Friendly chef Jacques is always on hand to greet customers, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. This humble little red trailer serves some of the best food in the entire Northeast, and it’s a must-visit spot in the Wells/Old Orchard area, sure to delight visitors seeking good conversation, great prices, and quality dishes. While it is a one-man operation, the amazing food and atmosphere make it well worth the wait. Many recommend making a stop here if in the area, especially before the season ends.
