Stumbled upon this gem! A historic part of Wells delivered big flavor. 80 flavors today, which is quite impressive alone but the types were really creative & imaginative. Great flavor while not being over the top. There was a line, (which I'm sure there is alot!) but it moves quick. Plenty of seating outside. The staff were fun, engaging and friendly. Summer must hit!

I had ice cream every day during our vacation to Maine and the Scoop Deck was the best of the bunch. So good we went out of our way on the drive back to Boston to stop again!
Loved the fun, colorful, and friendly vibe of this place, and the cookies & cream ice cream was delicious! It was great having a number of vegan options to choose from, and staff was so kind and helpful. Recommend mapping out your visit in advance since lines can get very long at peak times!

Scoop Deck is a favorite spot for many ice cream lovers, known for having some of the best and biggest ice cream cones on the east coast. They offer a fascinating variety of homemade ice cream flavors, including cherry blossom, red raspberry revolution, and the fantastic, creamy Monster Mash with Oreo pieces, M&Ms, malted milk balls, and caramel swirl. Customers highly recommend trying a flight or sampler to taste different flavors, with the sampler dish featuring six flavors in an egg crate. The service is fast, welcoming, efficient, and very friendly, making the overall experience enjoyable and fun. The portions are huge, and visitors feel they are getting their money's worth. Located in Wells, the atmosphere is great, with picnic tables available and a cute little library.
