Absolutely unacceptable service! Mediocre food & inept service. Sorry to say it, but kinda broken hearted.
cruise in was very nice. Great musician, and wonderful meal and desert.
A friend of mine was just there and was very happy. Decided to see more about it.
Mostly positive comments with a few negative ones.
From what I saw, only one person brought up the issue they had with the establishment.
Sad that the others feel the need to go on Facebook and bash a small INDEPENDENT business in a small town.
Wonder if these people would rather have something like a Dairy Queen that can pretty much be found everywhere?

Dutch Treat is a sweet, traditional roadside ice cream stop with a nice yard in the back featuring apple trees, swings, and a tent with tables. Visitors can enjoy the Dutch Krispie, a soft serve with rice crispies and a chocolate dip that many rate as 5 stars. The place has charm with its two-window system of ordering, where orders are written out on paper with a pen. It is very cute, with friendly staff who are helpful when explaining menu items. There is plenty of room for kids to run in the grass and burn off sugar, and the outdoor area includes a huge space to play and a swing set. However, some meals, like the burgers, were noted to be small, and while the food was generally fine, the fries can sometimes be congealed and not crispy. The washroom could use some updating given the number of visitors. Overall, Dutch Treat is a great spot, especially on a summer afternoon, and well worth the stop. Parking is available, but the driveway behind the restaurant needs to be blocked to avoid safety issues.
