What a great place! This was our first visit, and we really enjoyed the food. We had the La Guardia sandwich. Messy, but very tasty chicken sandwich. Hubs enjoyed his smothered chicken, too. We will be back!

Tried out Jodies after driving past it several times and was curious about the food! I will preface this by saying our waitress was a very nice lady and did a great job, absolutely no complaints with service or wait time.
Online, their menu was rather large, and included multiple vegetarian options (which neither me nor my guest eat meat) and showcased all day breakfast. When we showed up, the menu was considerably smaller, and had almost no vegetarian entree options, including no veggie burger or vegetarian sandwiches on their online menu. Also no all-day breakfast. Because there were such limited options, we ended up splittyan Alfredo, getting potato wedges, and fried green tomatoes with "smoky" ranch.
All the food lacked seasoning. The Alfredo was bland and I had to add salt and pepper to get it to taste like anything other than cream. The potato wedges were okay, but again, lacked seasoning and were not hot. The fried tomatoes were good! The sauce was not smoky but tasted like regular ranch, which was fine. The price for what you get was quite high, and quite frankly feel like I could have gotten jarred sauce at Walmart and have it taste the same. Again, no complaints about anybody working there. It just seemed that Jodies is confused about what it wants to be--linens on the table, classical music in the background, and high prices, but tasteless food served in diner baskets with paper, plastic containers of condiments that you buy at the store, paper napkins, and an overall lackluster and overpriced experience. I will say the desserts at least looked delicious.

Jodie’s is a classic! The food is very good… the baked goods and desserts all wonderful… if you are looking for a comforting time.. a solid drink, good beer, cocktail, onion rings, a club sandwich…brunch on Sundays.. go to Jodie’s… it’s fun to sit at the bar “jim’s place”.. Annette is a great bartender..
Vegetarian options: Plenty of options that don’t involve meat… lots of breakfast options.. plenty of seafood as well..
Parking: Plenty of free street parking and there are also several free public parking zones..
Kid-friendliness: Classic all American restaurant, comforting environment… bar is friendly.. good vibes all around
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space at Jodie’s!!

We discovered Jodie's Cafe last year and have been back multiple times. Great food- especially burger and fries, great atmosphere and great staff! Looking forward to having dinner on our way to MBG's Gardens Aglow this December.

We had a lovely ride over. I had LaGuardia chicken sandwich so yummy but a bit spicy for me. Grandson had kids Mac chz and chicken fingers that was phenomenal!!!! Our server Priscilla was polite, efficient, and helpful with menu items.

Absolute best brunch around. Home fries are so good with peppers and onion. All of the Benedicts are amazing but do not miss the Irish Benny. Amazing for kids too.

I had a fish sandwich, and my husband had the shrimp basket. Wonderful food and service with a great view. Finally I found a place to eat with the best background music! My only suggestion is more vegetarian options. Highly recommend.
