It was our first time here so we took a minute ordering, but she was still sweet waiting patiently. When we got the food it was all excellent. I enjoy this place so much I’ve been there twice in a week, and purchased 22 meals from their weekly package meals. “Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

The only thing I'd change is the tables and chairs but I also had just had a surgery so they just weren't as comfortable for me at that moment. They are similar to fold out chairs.“

“We made a reservation and asked for a quieter area and they accommodated without question. Food and drinks were good ... service was good. The bar took a bit to get our orders out but the server was very communicative about where they were in the process. One in our party has a gluten allergy and while they did have gluten free buns available for burgers, there were very limited sides to choose from to swap out for the fries. The server did know about cross contamination from the fryer and returned to the table to say there was gluten in the turkey burger that was ordered. Cole slaw and salad were really the only sides to choose from. One suggestion is to include GF (gluten free) markings on the menu like you have for Vegan and Vegetarian items. It would have made searching the menu so much easier!“

All the extras were there in abundance: butter and sour cream for the baked potato, dressing for the salad, lemon wedges for the salmon, and of course, BISCUITS! Our meals were both delicious. “We had a wrong item with our order and for how busy this place was, the fries were all cold. Very disappointing for how much money you spend on a few sandwiches and fries.

My main concern was the cleanliness of this location. Cleanliness greatly affects our eating experience at restaurants with our young children. The stacks of highchairs looked like they have never been wiped off. The doors all had handprint grease smudges ALL over them
(more than just a days worth). The floors looked like they had not been swept at all that day. These are just a few examples.“

All of the aforementioned are consistently high quality and you can tell the care that goes into the space and products they provide! They are creative in their menu and change things up while keeping the favorites. I love that they have events and fun activities on a weekly and regular rotating schedule. “We absolutely loved this week's experience at Pizza Ranch. Everything was so clean, the staff was very friendly and the pizza was hot and offered so many great varieties. We unknowingly came on wing night and that was an added bonus. The fries were especially a favorite at our table - so crispy! I loved the salad bar as well, which was well stocked with fresh options. The assistant manager served us our personalized pizza and checked on us several times. I also saw the staff continually bussing tables and attending to the buffet area. Our only disappointment was the Pepsi products rather than Coke because we're diehard Coca Cola fans here. But overall such a fun night and treat for an out of town guest who told us repeatedly how much she enjoyed it.“

“I've loved it every time I've been here. Its clean and quiet. No TVs being shoved down your throat like a lot seem to do. Every time I get either their Spicy Chicken or Dave's Double (combo, of course). Sure its not an upscale restaurant, but I would rather have good food done right than a chef trying to show off that he can make something fancy (but tastes mediocre).
This location has vastly improved over what it was like 15 years ago.“
