“I was searching for a decent place to go in the area, browsed google, looked at images, decided it looks nice and clean.
Not only is it nicely updated and clean, but we found out the waitstaff is extremely attentive. Every table feels like it has that level of seated at the bar attention. The waitstaff is amazing.
And the kitchen, I read it was good, but it’s GREAT and they have CHEAP game day specials.
Anyway, if you take a chance on Mick’s, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!!“

“Made Friday night reservations 2 weeks ahead for a table (you can sit at the bar too with reservations). Free parking literally right in front was a huge win for a busy evening. We were on time and waited just a few minutes, which actually worked out because the open kitchen smells and those flames totally pulled us in. Super warm, cozy vibe and the space looks just as good inside as it does from the outside. Once we sat down in the cozy chair/table setup, we kicked things off with drinks and ordered apps and mains all at once. Everything came out fast and hot. The mussels, beef tartare, and tuna tartare were all flavorful, and just really well done. The only letdown was the Pollo that looked great but really needed more seasoning (& onions lol) to match the rest of the menu. Service was friendly & fantastic. Overall, it was an awesome family night out and a spot we’d happily come back to. 5/5.“

“My cousin wed their beautiful bride last night and their original post wedding brunch location fell through at the last minute. Groups of us came through right as Supergeil opened. “This is a small, but cool vibe old-time neighborhood bar. Came here with a group to see the Brother Crowe band who are an amazing and gritty, bluegrass-leaning Celtic Roots powerhouse band. You grab your own drinks from the friendly and efficient bartenders, the menu had some great choices and everything came out hot and delicious. The band rocked out and everyone there was really getting into their high energy music, singing along and dancing. I hope I get a chance to come back again!“

“We decided to try a new spot before dinner near by. Was pleasantly surprised on how centered and awesome this place is.
Very basic and that’s what makes it great. Old school photos and just a small black & white tv playing old video tapes.
No draft beers. Just a few selections and some custom drinks to choose from. The best deal is the beer & shot for $7.
People were personable and I’d easily come back.“

“This is a Moose Club that has genuinely nice people! The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a super friendly, smiling hello from everyone! They had a taco special tonight where you could get hard or soft shell tacos, or, to entice you more, they also did a loaded taco tots. It was a nice size order of tots, and they didn't skimp on the meat or the toppings. The nice price was only $6!!! I had a mixed drink and the taco tots and was very full! My total bill was $8.75. I haven't had a dinner and a drink for that price in a VERY LONG TIME! I recommend you join the Moose Club in whatever town you live in that has a local Moose. Not only for the great food that is priced right, but also for the many friends you will make when you visit any Moose Club that you find on vacation, or just passing through.“

“Biergarten is one of our favorite local places! This year they saved my fiancé’s 30th birthday when another local bar could no longer accommodate us last minute. I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Great people. Great place.“

Fun bar, great time. If you're going to come here, don't be too serious.. You will have a fun time, I promise you. Everyone there is polite. But seriously, if you come to this bar, seriously, just give Star your money and she will give you a great drink. She's also super nice so no need to be uptight at this bar, you'll be okay! This bar, great place, there's a party that's going to be at this bar tomorrow, if you're going to come to this bar, seriously, just go to Star, she'll give you a good drink seriously.. I was there two nights, and could not believe the number of gurls there, men also (not enough or too shy to my taste, but that is another story). You go to such bars for the people, not the place, and it checked all the boxes!“

“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know.
