“This place is great! Is it the best food I've ever tasted? Not really, but I was able to pick and choose the things I wanted, rather than order what was strictly on the menu, and for a diabetic, that's everything! The hubs was able to get some really great food, too! And when was the last time you ordered a four dollar glass of wine that was actually good? And the beer is reasonable, too! The service was excellent, as well. I wish it was closer to home but since we come here pretty often for camping in the area, it's a great respite from antiquing in Allen...which is also great, by the way! Do not hesitate to try the Outpost Grill!“

“Phenomenal food. The grinders are a toasted 18" sub and so tasty, made on homemade, fresh bread. The homemade pasta sauce has so much flavor, and the pizza is the perfect balance of pizza-y things. It's a simple shop, nothing fancy, but it's got some cool artwork and great waitstaff. We've never had a bad experience.

Kid-friendliness: They offer an 8" pizza for kids, as well as a grilled cheese sandwich and spaghetti. All drinks can come in small kid size glasses.“
