Absolutely amazing food and service, highly recommend anyone to give them a try they have a very large menu selection, Kristina D gave us excellent service and put a smile on our faces and made out visit here that much better
This is my go-to place to eat out in Alpena. If you're looking for predictably good food at very reasonable prices, great and friendly service, and an authentic sense of Alpena, come here. Real food, including great pizza, real people (patrons and staff- nothing about this place is pretentious), and a quirky decor (sometimes including the staff) - a local gem. The antithesis of a plastic and impersonal chain restaurant. Everyone I've brought here has enjoyed JJ's.
Food was average, not bad and not great. Service was slow when we arrived even though they were not busy, it was 9 pm. Once we ordered, it was good. We sat in the bar, there was a loud man that never shut up and was very annoying.
