I had the honor of performing at the Blue Llama with the Pamela Wise Ensemble, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff and management were top-notch, and the spirit of this beautiful jazz club was unparalleled. Being a part of such a wonderful night was truly an honor, and I can't wait to return to Ann Arbor soon for more incredible shows at the Blue Llama. Special thank you to Dave. ?

Being my first Jazz Club experience, I had no expectations to start. The Blue Llama has now set the bar high!Excellent food, course sizes, drinks, and ambiance.Service timing left a bit to be desired unfortunately. Our main course arrived quite a bit late in the performance, and dessert came afterwards. Then we were asked to leave to make room for the next reservation. It's understandable, yet did dampen the overall experience quite a bit.Would like to return again!

Food was mediocre at best. The entertainment and service was excellent. Our main disappointment is that it took so long for us to get our food that we were asked to leave 20mins after our food was served so that the next set good be seated.

Finally made it here after several years!The insides do not disappoint- it’s gorgeous and cozy. Staff is great!My only note is there wasn’t much or any option for vegetarians or vegans. The vegetarian option was grilled cauliflower, which was well done and delicious, but not a meal. Please provide something more filling for vegetarian/vegans? Bean burger or plant based protein options (tofu, seitan, impossible, etc) please?!Otherwise, great experience.Vegetarian options: Not many options.Dietary restrictions: They do have options for vegan / vegetarian but it wasn’t very satisfying

OMG I absolutely ♥️♥️♥️this place, im so glad I found it, they are the best. The food, the entertainment, & the customer service is A-1, they do everything they can to ensure your experience is phenomenal. Im telling all my friends about this place, a great place to de-stress after a long week. Donald, Emily, Maria, Lauren, TJ, ????Shout out to the band last night Brandon Rose & Soul Therapy??????? please bring them back, see y'all soon?

The music was outstanding and the food was solid (we had the set menu.) The service was surprisingly mediocre (e.g. they couldn't get us water or drinks in a timely manner and seemed to struggle with getting the right food to the right tables.) I couldn't tell if the service issue was chronic or just server specific. In any case, I would definitely still go back as it wasn't a deal breaker.

Last night's dinner was exceptional, featuring delightful food, enjoyable company, and entertaining music by Jonathon S. Muir-Cotton. We opted to try both the regular and premium Chef Tastings menus.The premium menu included a first course of Blood Orange & Fennel Salad with Goat Cheese, Toasted Pine Nuts, and a Blood Orange Vinaigrette, followed by Lobster Bisque.The second course featured Prime Filet accompanied by Broccoli Rabe, Fried Yucca, and Dashi Beurre Blanc, with a Raspberry Cheesecake Tart for dessert. The dessert crust was a bit hard to cut through.The soup, salad, and main course were wonderfully flavored, with the sauces and seasonings enhancing the deliciousness, though the tart was somewhat difficult to cut.The regular menu began with Deviled Eggs and offered a choice between the Blood Orange & Fennel Salad or Lobster Bisque.The second course was Confit Chicken served with Confit Potatoes and Broccoli Rabe, and dessert was Crème Brûlée.While the flavors, seasonings, and sauces were delightful, the chicken breast was unfortunately so dry that it made swallowing difficult without sipping my drink.My server Maria was amazing! Thank you Maria for a wonderful experience.

The Tresillo drink was delicious!Love the atmosphere, Brian and Nora are great bartenders, the venue was very clean and the musicians were amazing!Will definitely be back for more! Make sure you make a reservation!

Wow! Very intimate club with very tasty food. We opted for the dinner and a show deal which was fantastic! The Unity quartet was so entertaining and unique! Wonderful experience! We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, listening to Chris Tabaczynski and the band perform the Artie Shaw Tribute Show! The music, food and service were wonderful and the venue is beautiful. Hoping to return again soon and we look forward to listening to Chris and friends!!

The environment is great, the place is well-appointed and it feels like a nice upscale yet intimate setting. The waitress was attentive and just overall very good.I do however not think that the food is worth the price. Portions are small, the gumbo had one measly overcooked shrimp, grits were salty and the dessert was tasty but laughably small. I recommend going for drinks.
