First thing first the Atmosphere is amazing. The ambiance and music is great. The server was amazing, and ultra courteous. However the food leaves much to be desired. The ribs were dry and tasted like sweet and sour sauce with peanuts. The salad is a clump of lettuce with green goo on it. The Jerk Chicken was pretty good, and the only thing that matched the ambiance. I wish they would have actual sides that automatically come with your plate, as well as more Caribbean options.
A night to remember. I was able to see one of my favorite jazz pianist. In a setting where I was literally no further than ten feet away from any of the members of the trio.
If not already. Joey Alexander will one day be recognized as one of the greats.
I asked the manager if I could get my album autographed, that I had taken. He asked them if it would be okay. I was invited into the dressing room. It was all way too cool!

Let me start off by saying, I am not a jazz fan. I listen to mostly country music, I enjoy other music as well but I can't say jazz is ever on my playlist. However, my husband is all about jazz and keeps exposing me to all the good stuff.
We spent Valentine's Day at the Blue Llama and it was my favorite date we've been on to date being married for 11 years. The venue was intimate and sexy, the band and singer were feeling it, the food was hitting...
