Today I'm down in the westside of Ann Arbor and this new restaurant Ricewood BBQ, OH MY GOD!!! On the recommendation of the lady behind the counter I got the Brisket bowl with sesame cucumbers, pickled onions and the spice was medium. A "real", in my opinion BBQ place, you even smell the smoke from the wood smoker walking up. I went to the one on North Maple and by far the best lunch I've had all summer!!!“

I’m a craft beer guy and I have made it a point to visit every small brewery that I can while out and about in our great state. Mothfire Brewing is by far one of the best breweries I’ve ever been to. The staff is amazing and the beer is excellent. Stop in, you won’t regret it.“

“Sava's has been a favorite of ours for many years. It is a quality Ann Arbor restaurant that is always busy and has kept current with modern renovations and frequent menu updates. It can be a casual meal or an upscale experience, whatever you prefer. There is plenty of cuisine variety, yet just a single page of menu items. When we have out-of-town visitors this is one of our go to choices. I suggest making a reservation if dining during a prime time, as they do fill up quickly.“

“Good place to eat and get a beer. Anthony was our server and did a good job. My artichoke dip came out without the dip but Anthony quickly fixed it. And it was really good. The girl at the door seating everyone seemed really odd. I told her we needed two seats. She grabbed the menues and silverware. We followed her to our table. She put the items on the table and left without saying a single word to us. I usually expect them to say follow me or tell me who will be our server. She didn’t say a word. Seemed mad. But it is a beer and burger place. Maybe I expect too much of people.“

“I love the Washington location, they open at 6:00 am! Evan and Brooklyn are fabulous baristas! Fast, friendly and knowledgeable. I’m there every day for my morning wake up coffee and snack 😁“

“A very popular location, good luck getting a seat if you arrive later in the night. They move the line for drinks along incredibly fast, don't be intimidated. Prices are quite reasonable for a nice draft beer. Young and energetic scene but some of everything in the crowd. Good beer, make some friends due to close proximity.“

“It's really nice having AADC in the neighborhood, and as a distilling company they do great work and make quality spirits. They'll also often have delicious food trucks, which brings great food into the neighborhood. The vibe is lovely. The only downside is that you're paying an arm and a leg for a weak drink. We don't come here for the drinks.“

“I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“

“Whoever the owner of this spectacular establishment is, I’d like to thank you personally and shake your hand for consistently giving me the best lattes I’ve ever had in my life. How do you do it? How do your recipes literally taste like liquid form of what you’re advertising them to be? Banana bread latte? You can’t convince me you didn’t blend a piece of banana bread in there. Campfire chai? I’ve literally been transported to a pumpkin farm surrounded by colorful leaves with a campfire in front of me. If your business were ever struggling you give me a call because I would sustain that place and buy 100 coffees a day if that meant the world would continue to be blessed by your existence. Don’t tell me it’s the quality of syrups or espresso, I KNOW the magic you use behind that counter to make your coffees so good. It’s called love. “So excited to see Sweetwaters in the Michigan Union. Love that owners Lisa and Wei and two of their sons are U-M alums. This is a great work spot and the atrium and lounge areas nearby (with cozy fireplace) add to your options for enjoying great coffee, tea, and desserts.“

“My work has ordered many times from Alpha Coney. Today we place a order for 4 lunches for pick up. Today they decided to charge a 20% large party fee. They never have done that in the past. We just got lunch from the restaurant last week and our bill was over $50. No fees then! You have lost our business!!! We will be supporting other businesses in the area!“

“Went to this American restaurant last weekend with a couple friends, and overall it was a nice experience. The place had a cozy vibe and the staff was friendly without being too pushy. I ordered the BBQ burger and fries — both were cooked well and had good flavor, though the fries could’ve been a bit crispier. My friend got the chicken sandwich and said it was solid too. Prices were fair for the portion size, and the service was pretty quick even though it was busy. Not the best meal I’ve ever had, but definitely worth visiting again sometime.“

I got their Ethiopian Coffee black, and a Caramel Macchiato . And for sweets a brownie and apple in a croissant. Drinks and sweets were good.“
