“First visit in years..not so great in the past. Well, now I can attest the quality of every thing that makes an outstanding food experience exists at Mac's! My server Aly was top notch as well..I ordered a classic burger and fries,bread pudding,( which I never liked until I had theirs) and a Moscow mule. When she returned with my items, I felt like I was in a Michelin restaurant. Burger ( rich meaty flavorful, delicious) med/ rare was perfection..fries, ( ditto..service.. impeccable.I walked out feeling like a queen. ( I am a private chef of 50 years and particular about food.) Well done Mac's! 5 +stars!“

I’m a craft beer guy and I have made it a point to visit every small brewery that I can while out and about in our great state. Mothfire Brewing is by far one of the best breweries I’ve ever been to. The staff is amazing and the beer is excellent. Stop in, you won’t regret it.“

“As a local place to meet up the place is great. Filled with friendly people. A+ for that.

I had a few bad experiences with the standup which I understand is outside of their control but some of the people shouldn't be allowed to return. Not funny is understandable, not every joke flies with everyone, but some were in really bad taste. So just beware, especially for open mike.

Besides that the shows have been great and the venue is amazing. Great trivia as well.

The staff has always been beyond amazing as well.

I've edited my review to just mention that bad improv can happen, although I think they should ask for comments and block people from returning. But my initial review was too critical, and this place really is pretty awesome.

“I Love this bakery.!!!I purchased a Chocolate cake and it was so delicious and moist.There are numerous cakes to purchase all different flavors.What I truly appreciate are slices of all these fantastic cakes on display and you can buy a slice and determine what cake you prefer. I chose a raspberry and chocolate slice with delicious white frosting. Oh my gosh how delicious,happiness in my mouth.The presentation of all these wonderful treats are spectacular. Let me tell you about their cookies,I love the Almond Joy cookies very moist lots of nuts.The staff is very Helpful and Friendly. I had help getting to my vehicle ,a very Kind young lady opened my door and I carefully placed my treasures on the floor.Listen,run fast don't walk to this delightful bakery full of awesome treats you won't forget.Go buy,Eat and Enjoy.“

“We love Miny’s. Great authentic Mexican food. We very much enjoy their tacos and salsa (often buy a large container of salsa to take home). They know how to make them the right way. Now they have two locations (Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor)-yeah! If you haven’t tried them out, we highly recommend them.“

Today I'm down in the westside of Ann Arbor and this new restaurant Ricewood BBQ, OH MY GOD!!! On the recommendation of the lady behind the counter I got the Brisket bowl with sesame cucumbers, pickled onions and the spice was medium. A "real", in my opinion BBQ place, you even smell the smoke from the wood smoker walking up. I went to the one on North Maple and by far the best lunch I've had all summer!!!“

“Good place to eat and get a beer. Anthony was our server and did a good job. My artichoke dip came out without the dip but Anthony quickly fixed it. And it was really good. The girl at the door seating everyone seemed really odd. I told her we needed two seats. She grabbed the menues and silverware. We followed her to our table. She put the items on the table and left without saying a single word to us. I usually expect them to say follow me or tell me who will be our server. She didn’t say a word. Seemed mad. But it is a beer and burger place. Maybe I expect too much of people.“

“I never do the recommend/rating thing on Facebook but I figured I’d do it for this local spot. I still eat dairy, but I do try to eat vegan sometimes, and Cinnaholic brings meaning to phrase of, “taking the cake” when comparing to any dairy confectionery counterpart. 🥰 All you need to get when you go is an Old Skool bun, but they have so many options, you’d never get bored. Cinnaholic also has a generous community billboard. I really hope to see them grow and thrive in the coming years.“

Bartender was friendly and quick with the drinks, even though the place was kinda busy. They had a decent selection of beers on tap and some good cocktail options too. The food menu wasn’t huge but the wings and fries hit the spot. Overall, a nice spot to hang out for a few drinks without breaking the bank. Would probably come back again.“

“I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“

However: when ordering takeout: When we order the mild it lacks the flavor punch. But when we order medium it’s on the border of what we can handle heat-spice wise. When ordering takeout there is no other option. And putting it in the comments is hit-or-miss. Would be good if medium actually worked for flavor and a nice bit of heat, that is not on the uncomfortable edge.“

“Sava's has been a favorite of ours for many years. It is a quality Ann Arbor restaurant that is always busy and has kept current with modern renovations and frequent menu updates. It can be a casual meal or an upscale experience, whatever you prefer. There is plenty of cuisine variety, yet just a single page of menu items. When we have out-of-town visitors this is one of our go to choices. I suggest making a reservation if dining during a prime time, as they do fill up quickly.“

“My work has ordered many times from Alpha Coney. Today we place a order for 4 lunches for pick up. Today they decided to charge a 20% large party fee. They never have done that in the past. We just got lunch from the restaurant last week and our bill was over $50. No fees then! You have lost our business!!! We will be supporting other businesses in the area!“

The rich espresso base blended perfectly with the vanilla cold foam and a generous dusting of cocoa powder, and it came topped with a sugary ladyfinger that just melted in my mouth. At $6.65, it's a total steal for something that tastes like a decadent dessert in a cup – creamy, indulgent, and perfectly balanced without being too sweet. If you're a coffee lover, this is a must-try!
The interior is spot on: nice, clean, and super cozy with plenty of seating that's perfect for hanging out for a few hours. It's got this warm, inviting vibe with eclectic decor, including shelves filled with fun knick-knacks and colorful butterflies scattered around. Speaking of the butterflies, they really touched my heart – as someone with a daughter who has multiple sclerosis, the butterfly symbol holds a lot of meaning for me. It represents transformation and hope in the MS community, much like how people adapt and find strength after diagnosis. It made the whole visit feel even more special and personal.
Overall, Cahoots is a fun, welcoming spot with great drinks and a menu full of creative options. Highly recommend it for a relaxing coffee break – I'll definitely be back“

“Glad to see this popular Asian boba tea brand in Ann Arbor. The service was fast and friendly. The room was clean with some seats. We tried several items. Matcha latte was the best with chewy boba. However, the tea tasted like the instant one sold in the grocery. 30% sugar level could be great for Asian people, because of its high sweetness.“

How do your recipes literally taste like liquid form of what you’re advertising them to be? Banana bread latte? You can’t convince me you didn’t blend a piece of banana bread in there. Campfire chai? I’ve literally been transported to a pumpkin farm surrounded by colorful leaves with a campfire in front of me. If your business were ever struggling you give me a call because I would sustain that place and buy 100 coffees a day if that meant the world would continue to be blessed by your existence. Don’t tell me it’s the quality of syrups or espresso, I KNOW the magic you use behind that counter to make your coffees so good. It’s called love. “I went here for dinner with a friend last week, and overall it was a pretty nice experience. The place has a cozy vibe and the staff was friendly without being pushy. I tried the chicken parm and it was pretty good, maybe a little heavy on the cheese but still tasty. My friend got the pasta Alfredo and said it was creamy and flavorful. Service was a bit slow at one point, but nothing too bad—we were just chatting anyway. Prices felt reasonable for the portions. I’d come back again if I’m in the area and craving Italian.“
