Chaotic “Chaos Theory”
The food is good in a pinch. But they recently as in over the last couple weeks decided to increase their prices. I don't really agree with the new pricing as it's now less affordable. Their dishes revolve around the meat but the cost of meats hasn't risen lately so I see no need for the increase especially with the way the economy has been Ann Arbor is already expensive enough.

Their rice bowls and bbq are always good, but last time I finally got the chance to try their smoked cheese burger. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and perfectly cooked. I even ate the scraps with a fork afterward. It was like the perfect Big Mac, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Brisket is ok, price is high for what you get though. I've had better brisket at other local BBQ shops and will probably pass this place over in the future.

The food was very well seasoned and spice levels are true to description; service was super attentive but the atmosphere was overbearingly crowded but definitely worth a lunchtime stop. RIBS RICE BOWL is the way to go for sure hella Tender.

The food was very good. I wish I could go there and eat there again today. The establishment is shared with another establishment as far as space goes.Only complaint is, I found it very odd that there was another trashcan.

They're great. They take the time, even while busy, to explain and customize the best they can. The quality of food is fantastic and delicious. Cannot say enough good. My fave is the chicken rice bowl deluxe - spicy.Vegetarian options: The tofu is good.
Finally got there early enough for brisket and it was so worth it. It is the best brisket I’ve ever had hands down. Don’t even tip it in the bbq, better without. I’ll go back and order just that, but this time had the ricebowl deluxe - still phenomenal. I never leave reviews and this brisket made me leave one

This place is a local favorite, so I had to try it again. This time we ordered from the Maple Rd location. The ordering process and staff were phenomenal!The food itself was interesting. The proteins were flavorful, while not being overwhelmingly impactful. There was a layer of saltiness that was off putting; this coming from an add extra salt to everything everything sort of person.My husband and I both stopped our meal early. We were abnormally full and uncomfortable.The oddest part was the spice level. I asked how hot the “hot”was, and I was told “Thai spicy” so I ordered hot. What I received was spicy for sure, but more of a part Carolina Reaper and full Habanero spice. It hits the tongue differently and isn’t all that great in a bbq dish.All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant but I can see why people like it.

Their bathroom and the entire restaurant in general was so clean. And get this, they have free tampons and pads in their bathroom! If I could give this store 10 stars I would!

I moved here from Texas, and I can tell you this brisket is as close as you’ll get to the real deal without a trip to the Lone Star state. The rest of the ricebowl is filled with delicious fresh ingredients and the sauce is on point. Definitely will be eating here again. A lot.

Ricewood has the best bbq dish I've ever eaten. Korean fusion is dope and there's not enough of it about, so to have a top tier option (and *two* locations in A2!) is just amazing. Oh and the staff is always super friendly and generous - got a free drink today! Skip the Roadhouse (unless you want fried chicken or chili) and go here instead!
