Frank and this whole team are always on point. Whatever I'm in Ann arbor I always make it a point to stop at one of the two locations and I've never been disappointed. Food is always super flavorful delicious and affordable. I tell all my friends stop in whenever they are in the area.
Ricewood takes up a small part of the York restaurant complex, but serves up some of of the biggest flavor it has to offer. Fresh, hearty barbecue that's tender, plentiful, and out-of-this-world delicious is the order of the day here, and the ample space inside and outside make it so that you can enjoy your 'cue whichever way you see fit. For single diners, I would readily suggest their rice bowls, as they're packed with their signature meatcraft, delicious accoutrements,...
My first time trying it after being recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint at all! The brisket bowl was tender and flavorful and the Sichuan chicken was the best, you could really feel the peppercorn. I will be back soon for sure.
