This was my first time eating at a Shake Shack. I had heard peeps online rave about the food here. No raving today. I think what turned me off right away was the cost. $19 (included 15% tip) for my attempt at getting the cheapest meal. A cheeseburger single ( no extras), small onion rings (no extras) and a small fountain drink ($3.50!!!). The food itself was fine...good burger, very good onion rings (all portions). Was it $19 meal good? No man...no it wasn't. The wait felt...
Food and drinks were good, and ordering at the kiosk was super convenient. They brought our order to the table which was nice. Our server was very friendly too.
The only issue was the outdoor bins. They were overflowing, and trash was blowing onto people’s tables. It was gross. With the nicer weather and more people sitting outside, it would really help if they were cleaned more regularly.
