“Pretty much identical to Jersey Bagel (Birmingham, Bloomfield, W Bloomfield) but not quite as good. I believe the owners of Bagel Spot used to own Jersey Bagel. I had an egg bagel with egg whites and onions - it was a little light on egg whites and the onions were raw and too thick-cut. I much prefer how they scramble them in at Jersey Bagel.“

“Long wait to get food, but the service was friendly. Interior is deli style with two display cabinets display counter and a fridge for helping yourself to a drink. The corner sells local products including T-shirts. There is a small seating area outside of you want to stay and enjoy your purchase. The food was delicious, but I think I ended up with someone else's bagels. I was looking forward to trying one of the three cherry bagels I ordered, but only received one and gave it to a friend. I guess I will have to go back for another attempt. Small local owned business that is well known on the community.“

They have an excellent variety of bagels and cream cheese flavors, so there’s always something new to try. Their breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal as well. “I’ve been coming to this place for years, so I’m kind of shocked that I have never reviewed it before now.
I am a huge bagel fan and these are probably the best bagels in the Detroit area. Today I had my “go to” item - an everything bagel i with lox spread. It was excellent, as always! The lox spread here is different than most places - this isn’t just pink cream cheese that has a vague flavor of salmon - it has substantial pieces of lox right in it! The menu also covers a lot of other territory. My wife was interested in the cheese steak wrap but doesn’t eat a lot of beef, so they were able to substitute some grilled chicken in for her and it was great!“

“Amanda and her team at this location in Rochester hills have been nothing short of caring helpful and kind , they have made a huge difference in Avondale football camps by donating bagels for these young men for after practice making sure they are full on delicious protein filled bagels. This location is clean welcoming and truly the best around !!“

“This was my first Einstein bagel experience and it was great. Very affordable and they had a lot of deals! I only remembered to take a picture of my muffin but the breakfast bagel and lunch bagel was great! The coffee was amazing too. A++ to the nice staff.“

“The food? Amazing. I have always loved Einstein bagels. However, I have to say, the young woman working the order register needs to improve her customer service skills. When I walked in, she was chatting with another young woman who was working there. As I approached the register, she turned her back on me rather than greet me. When she turned around she still said nothing to me. When the manager asked her why she was having a conversation instead of assisting me, she said,"she's looking at the menu!" I was looking at the menu because she was obviously too busy to ask me if I needed assistance.“

“Enjoyed my time at Mad Nice. Went late evening and found two friendly staff members. It wasn’t busy, so I felt advantageous and got to know the baristas a bit. I found them to be very personable and inviting, traits that unfortunately seem to be getting harder to come by these days. It’s always comforting when you come across people who still naturally carry them.

I purchased a cortado, which was made very well. Overall, enjoyed my visit.“

“I’m originally from Brooklyn and am pretty picky about my bagels, Brooklyn Bagel hits the mark. I live in Plymouth but find myself at Brooklyn Bagel to get my fix. The outer layer isn’t too hard and bagel itself is soft in the inside. The egg bagel has the touch of sweetness I like. The cinnamon sugar bagel is another favorite of mine. I’ve switched to getting a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and it’s perfect every time. The shop itself reminds me of the bagels shops in NYC. So happy to have found Brooklyn Bagel. It’s worth the drive for me.“

“Stopped in today while I was in the area. Been wanting some fresh “homemade” bagels. Got my husband a sausage egg and chz bagel and he loved it. Got my self 2 bagels and cream cheese and got 2 dog bagels. Everything was good and reasonably priced. Will be stopping back by whenever I’m in the area again.“

“This is the best Einstein bagels you will go to in the state. I’ve been to a lot of them and non-compares. The only other Einstein bagel that was better than this was back in the day in Commerce my friends mom Colleen was the GM. Ferdarrel is amazing he always greets me with a hug smile and a positive attitude give him a raise! Christian made my food today and it was so good. We got two breakfast sandwiches the all nighter and a plain bagel with turkey egg, and cheddar cheese I will definitely be back. This is my local place and it’s so good.“
