As expected on my return today, phenomenal service, spectacular coffee of the week, and delicious pastries. I enjoy having a local coffee shop nearby knowing every time I’m there I receive such a warm welcome and am treated so well. Thank you to the entire Layover Café team for choosing downtown Auburn Hills to open your business.
Love the Intimate Vibe, Kool Atmosphere and excellent Customer service ? Great place to meet friends, get some work done or have a meeting. Sit inside or outside.
Went in for an Americano (Half caff). The girl working barely acknowledged me at first and said hello as I walked up. She finished doing the task she was doing, turned and looked at me. She didn't say a word, no "how can I help you" or "what can I get for you", she just looked at me. ordered my half caff americano. Unfortunately the decaf part of the espresso machine was broken, which doesn't make much sense to me. Either way, the Americano was really good, so 5 stars for coffee,...read full review
Layover Coffee Bar offers tasty Americanos, with a welcoming and good atmosphere. However, service can be uninviting and cold at times, and there have been instances of unexpected early closings. The barista Emily is praised for her helpfulness and friendliness, making customers feel welcome and providing excellent menu recommendations. The coffee quality is decent, but operational hours can be inconsistent.
