Auburn Hotel Reviews
It was packed. First Friday of lent. And we were on a time table. But, had enough time for an appetizer and a couple of drinks. After 25 minutes they still had not dropped the basket and so we had to pull the order. But, looking at the crowd, I saw a lot of people waiting. Seemed like a nice local pub. I will go back on a less busy night.
We've come here several times and have never had a bad experience. The service is friendly and fast, the food is exquisite for bar food, and the bloody mary's are to die for! Today I had deep fried pickles and wings. The wings are not fried, they are broiled, and they are still crispy and amazing. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Only reason I'm giving three stars is from my first experience last Nov. Since then the pulled pork hamburger has disappeared. Yesterday the service was decent at best. The Auburn hogie is reminiscent of a fast food item. Was so impressed the first time I went, not sure if I'll return after yesterdays fast food fair and service.
