“This hilltop restaurant at Stoatin Brae has great views of wooded hills in the distance, from both the interior dining areas and the exterior deck. It was a fine place to dine after playing golf. The fish tasted great, with prompt follow-up service.“

“We just happened to stop by the Chicken House because we were hungry and in the area. We are from Albion. And before I say anything else, I have to say that we will be back for sure!!The chicken sandwiches are AMAZING!!! I got the mother clucker and my husband got the Nashville hot. Soooooo good!!!The owners are really cool too!!Don’t drive by without trying their food! If it wasn’t winter, we would have tried the ice cream and sundae selection. Darn, I guess we will have to come back a few more times.Thanks for the great lunch!!!“

“Doesn't look like much when you drive by but this little hole-in-the-wall, dive bar serves up cold, frosty beers, average cocktails and unforgettable burgers. The main-stay is the Barney's burger. A tasty beef patty grilled to juicy perfection on a warm, soft bun (which really makes any sandwich-am i right?) topped with pepper Jack cheese and dressed with ketchup, mustard, onions and sliced pickles. You can also go deluxe with the burger dragged through the garden coming up for air with lettuce and tomato and a slather of mayo to highlight your bun! The onion rings are hand cut and battered and a served at 1000°F so be careful! Most patrons are locals but anyone can walk through the door and feel welcome.“

“Food is amazing, there are times where in my meat I find hard pieces, which is fine but always makes me cringe lol. I love the fries and I’ve been going here for years!! 100% reccomend.Kid-friendliness: They love kids!! Every single time I go through the drive thru there is always someone makin my babies laugh and I love it!! They also give out doggie treats :)“

“If you are looking for a great St. Patrick day dinner go check them out. The Irish stew was amazing. Did I mention they also have Shamrock shakes. You can never go wrong with one of those. The wait staff will take really great care of you. Enjoy.“

“Hadn't been in well over a year as they had several food items on the menu that were not available, but everything was available and good this time around. The Spedunkel was tasty, as was my olive burger. The rest of my group seemed to enjoy their drinks and food. Olivia was an excellent and attentive server, though the place was not particularly busy for a Saturday evening. The dining area is a bit dark making it a bit difficult for this old man to read the menu, but all in all a good, reasonably priced evening out.“

“Finally got around to try BC Burger. Wow. Absolutely delicious. Hubby's favorite burger - forever - has been Clydes in St. Ignace. Nothing, in his opinion compares. He's a hard sell. BC did it! He made it about halfway thru his double (which he could not finish, although he tried!) and said, "Clyde's has competition!" That says a lot. Wish we would have tried it sooner - and I promise, we will be back!“

“The food is far better than typical bar food. However, the atmosphere is exactly that, a bar. The service exceeds that of much nicer restaurants. The servers are prompt, friendly, and helpful. The value for the price is also reasonable. We were there for a birthday party. It was an early dinner, and it was a pleasant space for a family oriented dinner. I imagine it's a great place for a guys/girls night on the weekend. I'll be making my way back there for sure.“

“This place is the most slept on eat spot in Battle Creek! The Shrimp boil bag is epic!!! They have such a ridiculous selection, from burgers and philliy steak melts to hibachi rice and noodles dishes. More of a carry out joint, but they do have a small sit down area. Last, the owner, J, is really cool guy. Tell him I sent you.“

“Up until recently, I have been going to Mr. Don's consistently for years. They have been my go-to place for good food served by great people. Oh how I wish I didn't have to move! I have only had an issue on time, and it was just a small simple mistake of the wrong toppings on my burger. This is definitely the place for a good time. Mr. Don's still is the cheapest place to grab a bite of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And they do all 3 meals amazingly!I must say, if you are health conscious, I would double check if you're ok with some greasy food. Don't go here consistently if you don't want to get diabetes from their deep-fried Oreos or oatmeal cream pies!Overall, 10/10, would move back to Battle Creek just to go there again!“

“A Checkers is a Checkers is a Rally’s… this location however, got our large order entirely correct, food was prepared quickly, came out hot and tasty. There is a small area with 4 stone picnic tables and umbrella if you didn’t want to eat on the go. Definitely one of the best Checkers in MI.“
